well to be fair, one direction’s management was extremely terrible. like i know directioners are seen as dramatic, and yeah we can be, but when it comes to their management we’re being honest. i also know that directioners get made fun of a lot and people think it’s funny to do it, so we often don’t get taken seriously, which is frustrating because so many people don’t listen when we bring up their management. i finally got my friends to listen to me about it and now they understand why i hate their management so much, it just sucks how some people will only listen if they’re close to a directioner. like even this month simon cowell said he wishes he could still profit off of them. i could honestly go on a whole rant about how their management was horrible but it would be an extremely long comment when the video is a different topic 💀 you can definitely look it up if you’re curious though

As a 23 yr old fan, I’m so glad you made this video. They’re my favorite UA-camrs, but their fandom is actually insane and I want no part of it. I’ve seen lots of older fans like 19-23 who are completely sane and normal, but the younger fans are actually sooo parasocial and chronically online it’s so scary. They also think they’re like characters and not real people.
Another thing abt their younger fans is they have no life experience. If i got on TikTok and saw edits of me and my old friends with captions like “i miss their friendship what happened to them” I’d be soooo annoyed. Im friends w 1 person from high school and we barely see each other. Most people in their 20s are constantly going thru friend groups.
i completely agree i’m 15 but i have older sisters in their early 20s who have gone through so many friendships, i don’t think some of the fans understand that a lot happens between the ages 17 and 20 like people change, grow up, and grow apart friendships don’t always last forever. i watch them with my mom and we both think that sometimes they forget their real ppl yk. sorry this was long 😭

as someone who watches their youtube videos and may perhaps watch tiktok edits of them from time to time, i try not to associate myself with their fandom because of how delusional and obsessive they (the fans) can be. i get that they are attractive and funny men on the internet so they are bound to have fan girls but some of these people are far too old to be obsessing over their every move and essentially romanticizing everything they do. i feel like people have definitely created a version of them in their head so when they do/say the bare minimum, people go CRAZY and it's sets the bar for human decency so low imo😭

thats what im saying! i have 1 older sister and we get picky with each other, i can only imagine what being a part of a triplet set is like. thinking back to when i was 10-13 and watching dan and phil, jacksepticeye, markiplier, and dodie to name a few, i was quite attached to them. not stalker but i was heavily invested in them, and thats part of being a kid/tween. you simply dont know better and find comfort in internet personalities. im the same age as the triplets, if i was in their position id be freaked out (and they seem to be too judging by how they react to the creepy fanfiction stories theyve read in videos and livestreams). im sure the three of them can handle it themselves and if the fangirls become too much, theyll stop making videos or cut down a lot on their internet presence

One thing I don’t think people have clocked is that they’ve literally reached boyband status. It’s literally one direction if we had TikTok in that era. There are MANY popular k-pop bands with far fewer fans. I think if we all just acknowledged that life would be a lot easier on the triplets and some of the older fans.
I agree with almost every point but I do believe their friendship with Madison Beer is genuine, ik that’s just from a viewers perspective but the story of how the friendship started is so heartwarming I recommend their podcast episode with Madison❤️and they often hangout without making it a content thing

So that’s why imo it’s not for any type of clout. I feel like the sturniolo triplets don’t deserve all of the hate that they get. Most of the drama comes from other people instead of them. Like yes, I love the sturniolo triplets and I think they are very funny. Am I gonna go write a story sexualizing them? Hell no. Their toxic fans cause like 90% of the drama. The triplets deserve the biggest apology for what people have put them through
the idea that la is some magical hell where people go and immediately change for the worse and everyone is la is horrible and vapid and shallow is so strange to me?? la is one of the most culturally rich and diverse places in the world with a HUGE population, so it's perception to people who aren't from la is so weird. i understand influencer culture there is different from just being an la local, but the villainization rubs me the wrong way.
Also the reason there’s only 4 things on Fresh Love rn is because he does like “drops” so he’s had more variety in the past, what you saw was just his most recent drop

first thing i remember thinking of clearing up was fresh love, which is chris's brand. he has had way more than 4 items. he did colored sweatsuits in the past and theyve all sold out so he removed them from the website. i think in total he's had 20+ unique items, however only 4 are listed rn.
I think what you said about them being stuck is so correct. i personally love a lot of their content as it's something that i can put on and kinda use as background noise. i want them to branch out however i don't think they'll ever be taken seriously since they will always be known as the tiktok triplets.
as for space camp, i agree. don't buy if you're not in the US because shipping is outrageous. i bought them when they were on sale and i only bought a 2 pack but i love the lip balm and i'm really happy with it, especially since it's made of good ingredients.

especially the over analysis of everything they do by their fans and the “shift” in vibe in their content.

I watch the sturniolo triplets and I would definitely consider myself a fan. I think that they are chill and very funny and they have this dynamic between the three of them that is just unmatched and I find it really comforting. I think they bring a lot of joy to a lot of people and are pretty much unproblematic for the most part. I think problems start to arise when fans get crazy and make everything into a really big deal. They are literally just three guys having fun and documenting their sibling relationship. Also you touched on them being immature but I don’t think they are like that usually but the videos are in a sibling/friend goofy setting so Ofc it’s gonna be a bit more silly and unserious. Anyway I have so much more I could say on them but I’ll leave it at that for now.

To add a few things that could maybe clear up some confusion regarding the 'ex-friend' category. (What I picked up over my course of being a fan)
Elmer/Young Pleit: the intro situation
His song 'miss me' had been part of their intros for as long as I can remember watching them. Recently, they had a shift regarding professionality, with Nick explaining in a YT video that their follower growth led to some changes and that they're in a 'new era'. Thus, the intro song was changed. Now I couldn't have cared less, but some people did get in a fuzz over it. Elmer went on an ig live and somebody had asked what he thought of the triplets taking out his song to which he (I think) replied to saying he didn't know they even did that, being confused. This is how far my knowledge goes on this topic, so idk if something else happened.
Alahna Estrella: friend/fan
So I always enjoyed seeing Alahna in their videos. What You've mentioned with her being close to the family and being the first person Nick came out to is true as far as I know. When they had their friendship break up, I only ever watched from the sidelines because it didn't concern me, or any of the fans actually. And again, I don't really care about the split up because that's what happens. As you've said people grow apart, don't make time for it anymore etc. The exact reason for their fallout isn't public knowledge, but the quote you've brought up probably has been said by Alahna. But this is kinda where it gets tricky because it isn't clear if it's about the triplets or somebody else. Now a lot of people of course think it's about the triplets, but I've also had a few people vehemently say that it's unrelated to them and had been twisted into a reason for their fallout. We'll probably never know, and that's alright because we don't need to.
These are for sure not the most important things to mention, but there has been hate (especially towards Alahna) regarding their fallouts and it always kinda bugged me how people felt so entitled to the personal relationships the triplets have.

as a teen girl who’s watched the triplets videos for about 2 years, i agree with what you said and i don’t understand why people claim the move to la “changed them” because the truth is people change constantly especially as they grow older. their content is definitely different from their content a few years ago, but that’s most likely because they want to change it up a bit and also they may not find things they used to find funny, funny anymore. as for the fandom, i myself am creeped out by some of the fans because most of the girls are extremely problematic and just act weird when it comes to nick matt and chris. yes, they are attractive but i don’t understand why these random little girls think that they truly have a chance to be in a relationship with one of them (it wouldn’t even be legal in some cases 😭😭)

I totally agree with you, I'm also a younger fan and have been for a year now. There has been a lot of people that sexualize them, and it is wrong, but there are people that just like watching their videos. I think that the fanfiction can go too far, but at the same time it's just a story. Matt has even once said in a video "send them to my Instagram, I'll respond". So, I think some of the fan base is enjoying writing and editing videos, but sometimes fans go too far and sexualize them. And yes, I'm aware that my profile picture is Matt.

I don't understand why people get mad about them living their lives, especially how they run their business. They aren't from LA they aren't Hollywood, they are like old school youtubers, why would they work at a corporate professional level. 😂

honestly we used to be fans of youtubers like Bethany mota, Tyler Oakley, The Brit squad, MAGCON BOYS, vine stars, musically stars, Emma and the Dolan twins etc etc. Some were FAR from educational or kid friendly. I think it's okay to let teen girls have their version of that too with charli and the (ex?) hype house stars and now with the twins (with moderation ofc).

i think younger girls have such a fascination with them because they are older guys. however, as a 20 year old girl who watches them, i don’t have that same interest because i know how 20 year old guys are 💀i’m a college student who is away from home, so i enjoy how each video feels like hanging out with a bunch of friends

This is was awhile ago but there was this Tik Tok of a fan saying they had a really bad intercation with Matt, blaming his anxiety and how he ruined or something like. Matt is open about so maybe thats why he could come across as shy. I don’t know if what was in the video was fake or not but talking about his anxiety just irks me the wrong way
another aspect that i think some fans don’t realize is that, when you make edits about the certain fans who are sexualizing them, you are giving those fans the attention they are wanting. i honestly think that most of the fandoms issues would be solved if they didn’t care about unnecessary drama and be dramatic about everything.

I’m so glad I randomly came across this video. As a 22 year old fan of the Sturniolos I think I view them differently than most of the target audience (12-14 year old girls). I see them as funny guys that seem like good, genuine people and would be fun to hangout with. Most of the people in the fandom are younger and with that comes all the obsession and sexualization. I think people just forget that “influencers” are people too and that they have an actual life that we don’t have to know everything about. I’ll support them as long as they continue to make content because I have grown to appreciate them, but I would not consider myself a part of the fandom because they take things WAY too far 😅😂

When I saw this video pop up, as a fan of the triplets, I of course watched it. And I'm usually not the commenting type, but I actually have some 'critique' to give.
The video gave a nice overview of things and primarily focused on recent 'drama'. But I do think you could've included some other things or maybe expand on the topics you've mentioned. I don't doubt you did research and as you've said you're not a fan yourself. However, it kind of felt like swooshing over things.
It's definitely a good video for someone to quickly catch up with what's going on in the Fandom, but it wasn't the long recap I expected when reading the title.
I've never seen anything of you prior to this, so I don't know if this is just how your videos usually go, or if they're more in depth than this one.
But it was certainly nice listening to your voice.
