We have been so waiting for this vlog, as our Disney Cruise on the Wonder to Alaska, was the most incredible experience of our lives, and now we get to re-live it through your eyes! Thanks! 😊
Aw, thank you so much for tuning in!! 🥰 We 100% agree that the Alaska cruise was unlike anything we've done so far and I hope we're able to do it justice!
It really was such a beautiful area! If you can make it across the suspension bridge, they have a beautiful boardwalk that's *not* in the treetops (but we know that's probably a big if!). Either way, glad you were able to enjoy the views in some capacity 😊
lol… Vancouverite here, and I had a bit of a chuckle when you said you were going to ‘walk through Stanley Park’ after your trip to the suspension bridge! It’s a bit bigger than you thought!! Glad you enjoyed Vancouver, and I’m sure you’ll love biking the seawall next time you’re here.
We knew we were only going to be walking a small portion of the park, but we severely underestimated just how big that "small" portion was 😵💫 at least we know for next time! Vancouver was an *amazing* city and we can't wait to go back 😊
We will 100% be back soon because we're already dying to go back to Alaska! And the next trip, we'll hopefully have more time to explore Vancouver because there's still so much we need to see!
Thank you for sharing your walk around Capilano Suspension Bridge Park - I didn’t know about it but now that I do it is definitely on my list of places to visit when I get to Vancouver - I especially appreciate seeing that I will manage the bridge and probably the tree-top walk (both with one hand holding on to the rail) but I won’t be attempting the cliff walk (heights are not my strength!). I’m looking forward to the rest of your videos :-)
Thank you so much for watching!! We're so glad to have been able to share how amazing this place. You won't be disappointed, even if you skip the cliff walk 😁
I think that we were the Alaska cruise the week after yours. We rented e-bikes to explore Stanley Park. Like you say in your video, the park is huge, so the e-bikes were a great way to explore the park and see everything. I'm enjoying reliving our trip through your videos.
Hello! We went in May 2019. Had an amazing time. Bucket list trip. Stayed in Deck 1 Mid inside cabin. Easy access to upper deck for outside views. Highly recommend Capilano Bridge go early AM. Did Skagway bus up Rail down so beautiful. Whale watching in Jasper. Lumberjack show Ketchican. I would do this cruise again in a heartbeat.
Ah, that sounds amazing! So happy to hear you were able to check something off your bucket list 😊 We've always wondered what it's like staying on Deck 1! You'll have to see the adventure we had in Skagway once that video is up haha it was... not what we were expecting to say the least 🤣 if we were to do another Alaska cruise in the future, we definitely plan to do a whale watching trip!
You can always go on the Gondola up the mountain right beside this place if you have difficulty walking , you will go up over 4000 feet and over look the city
Capilano Bridge is in North Vancouver. Vancouver Island is an island that requires a ferry. North Vancouver is actually it's own city and not part of Vancouver officially.
Unfortunately no - we didn't realize just how big Stanley Park is! Next time we visit Vancouver, we'll plan to spend an entire day at Stanley Park so we can try to see everything 😊
My gosh this is a good video ! We stayed at Pan Pacific at Cruise Terminal . We did that walk from Hotel . Big time steps . Love Vancouver . Going back next year for another Alaska Cruise and going to go up Grouse Mountain gondola . It’s close to where you were suspension bridge is at .
Thank you so much for the kind comment! We would love to go on another Alaska cruise in 2025 and we would love to stay at the Pan Pacific, it was much closer than where we were staying 😂
Tip - if you plan to stay at Pan Pacific then book real early as it sells out . If you can , try to get Coal Harbour view . Fabulous view and if up early then you can watch the cruise ships return and dock . The hotel will pick up your bags in the morning and take down to cruise baggage check in . Make sure you have luggage tags on. If in early enough 3-5 pm the day before , go out and watch the ships leave . You know your turn is tomorrow.
Capilano is in Vancouver , the shuttle is just downtown. And not near Vancouver Island. And North Vancouver is a part of Metro Vancouver. It is a district of Vancouver, not its own city as someone else stated. North, South, East , West.

That bridge gives ya workout! I've done it more than once each direction.
Thank you, i am happy to revist this amazing trip in your vlogs. :)
Wonderful video! The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park looks so beautiful!
Thank you so much! 😊 it really was so beautiful, highly recommend a visit if you're ever in Vancouver!

Thank you so much for tuning in, we can't tell you how much the support means to us 🥰
yay! super excited for this series. i've never been to Canada or alaska , so definitely living vicariously through you guys x
It was definitely the trip of a lifetime, we hope you get to visit yourself in the future! 😊
That treetop walk was amazing! I have a height phobia so could never do it myself, but your views were perfect. Thank you.

Great and beautiful video! Can’t wait to do a Disney Alaskan cruise someday soon! Enjoy!
We truly hope you get to do one someday, it really was the most incredible experience!

Great video guys , Cheers !!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Thank you so much for the great information! We leave in 17 days for our first Disney Cruise and Alaska. You have helped us plan our own adventure.
Oh my goodness, we're so happy that our videos helped! How was your trip?? We hope amazing!!
Come back to Vancouver soon! Enjoy your video ❤
We will 100% be back soon because we're already dying to go back to Alaska! And the next trip, we'll hopefully have more time to explore Vancouver because there's still so much we need to see!
i know this has nothing to do with your vlog, but you are named after two of my favorite cities I have ever been to.
Funny enough, we've come across multiple pairs of dogs who have been named after those two cities too!

That's our plan the next time we visit Stanley Park! We didn't realize how big it is, or else we would have planned to do that from the get go 😅

What a nice weather! What season were you in?
We went on the first cruise of the season last year in May 😊
You can always go on the Gondola up the mountain right beside this place if you have difficulty walking , you will go up over 4000 feet and over look the city
Ooooh that sounds so cool! We'll have to note that for a future Vancouver future 😊
Capilano Bridge is in North Vancouver. Vancouver Island is an island that requires a ferry. North Vancouver is actually it's own city and not part of Vancouver officially.
North Van is the District of North Vancouver. Not a city
FYI: the whole seawall perimeter walk of Stanley Park, without doing any one shortcut through the park, is just shy of 7 miles.
Thank you so much for that information! We were very curious as to what it was but we never looked it up haha 😂
Did you get to the Vancouver aquarium while you were there? I was there but it was about 43 years ago.
Unfortunately no - we didn't realize just how big Stanley Park is! Next time we visit Vancouver, we'll plan to spend an entire day at Stanley Park so we can try to see everything 😊

Fascinating! Thank you for the information 😀
With all due respect;my A1C went up watching this.
We eat relatively healthy not on vacation so that we can splurge during vacation!
I love you Sheen
