Festool H Class dust extractors are your only answer for safe, efficient hazardous dust removal. Asbestos, mould, fibrous mineral dust, lead, cadmium, nickel, zinc chromate - the carcinogenic and pathogenic dust doesn't stand a chance. With the high power suction turbine and a 99.995% degree of filtration there is no danger to health. The two layer safety filter bag prevents contact with the dust when disposing of the bag. Approved for dust class H, the extractors can be fitted with add on modules for air or continuous power or used with the automatic electronic switch on/off function.

I bought a CT 26 in the US - do you know what class that is considered?
I have never seen a Festool CT designated as CTM or CTH until very recently online.
Mine does not have the button where you can choose for different hose sizes, the filter is not bolted in, there is no plastic bag around the fabric bag, and there is no plug to block the air inlet

@Festool TV Australia - I just generally asking. Seems kinda backwards, for lack of a better word. To not have that feature on all models. Tools are tools no matter what country you live in.

Yeah that's a fair expectation. There are different 'classes' of dust extractor and this video shows the H Class, which has a specific filtration requirement including a flow sensor. It may be the case that different models/classes are offered in different countries which is why it'd be worth checking directly with your local team. Justin
