I have this tablet and don't have any complaints. I primarily use it for media consumption (videos, news, etc) and opted for the larger S9 Tab FE+ (I tried the smaller S9 Tab FE first) because I also read comic books, and they look much nicer on the bigger screen. I also decided to get the 256 GB / 12 GB RAM version and highly recommend it.
I got a S9 FE about 6 months ago and coming from a Tab A6 It is fantastic. Passed on the FE+ as just too big and even my FE is a heavy tablet ! Only complaint is the battery life is a little dissapointing even though battery saver is on and is put into sleep mode when not used ! Always seem to be cgarging it !
I use an FE+ for music school and is great! The screen is great for reading sheet music, and the s pen is great for taking notes on the pieces I study. Also, I use it a lot as a second monitor for my laptop to edite photos and videos
This is the one the guy at Best Buy told me to get because I use it mostly for streaming and game mirroring on my Ps5 and Xbox, he said that for my usage getting the 10s+'s/Ultra is just wasting my money

Everyone talking bad about this tab and recommend the apple is little kids who care about games. Most adults dont care about that. The samsung offers way more
I'm a first year med student, i need a tab for taking notes, netflix, social media, shopping, and playing some games like mobile legends. Do you think i should get the s9 plus or the s9 fe plus? Please i need help😅
I think your budget will be the best decider. I think both are spectacular. The s pen quality in both is excellent. If the FE's ram is at least 8GB it will be future proof speed wise. Then if you plan on torturing your tablet with the toughest games or video editing softwares then the non-FE one will be the best choice.

Note taking in general wouldn't need high end hard/software so any mid-range one would be just fine. However, only Samsung seems to be nice enough to include a pen with the tablet. Any Samsung S tablet comes with a pen.

It is better than the ipad air because of 120hz display and display quality with better battery life and free s-pen included and even s-pen experience is better than apple pencil as I previously used the ipad pro m2 of my sister so definitely thinking s9 is better and even one ui 7 is coming which is excelleng so from me I definitely recommend it for your study purpose even you can play most games better tha ipad air like bgmi in ipad air supports only 60fps but in s9 it supports 120fps and same for call of duty and other games.
I got this and a newer XPP 2025 whoch is twice more cheaper than the FE+. The only downside of the FE+ is the hardware and also the screen is not that great. The XPP 2025 on the other hand is greater on all specs aside from the software since its china rom. But in all honesty, with it worth half the price of a FE+ ill much more recommend the XPP 2025

Im sorry, but I think the FE tablets are JUNK for the money. If I were Samsung, I'd be embarrassed 😳 when I'm on Amazon or Best Buy, browsing. the price of this VS the entry level ipad 10, I think to myself how in the hell cld anyone buy this JUNK over that? Do I think the build quality is good, yeah its damn nice. Yet I couldn't handle the lag this provides. The one plus pad is killing this in every way possible. NO. NO. I do not recommend this tablet. The basic iPad is much better. Otherwise, go directly for the Tab S9. The FE does not support fast work, it hangs and lags. It is unbearable if you use multiple widgets. Skip it.

I like the size, but it is very heavy. I find myself grabbing a smaller and lighter tablet (original S6) over the S9FE+.
