Great job and very informative! Could you please share more info on the epoxy resin (e.g. brand, model) you used to cover and protect the LEDs in the eyes?
The brand doesn’t really matter I just use the Amazon special the key is the open time so 2 tone will have a nice long open time so you have more time to work with but many have issues with it dripping because of the long work time, 5 min epoxy will gel up faster but you will have to work a bit faster/ do multiple small batches(although the 5 min may be more yellow that may matter if you want it white or clear)
Thanks for this video, I had been pondering making knight eyes out of tiny 0603 LEDs and filling the socket with clear resin. Now I know it works!
Nice, Definitely following along as I build my knight. Congratulations 1k🍾
Perfect! Had just ordered my knight yesterday. Congratulations on 1k!
Awesome! imperium or chaos? I am really liking the imperial book so far hopefully I can actually get a game in soon with em!
This is so cool!!
that's so cool, thanks! question: where did you get that nice little board to plug on the 9V battery to test the LEDs? thanks again!
added to the description! cant really post links in the comments
