The moment i saw the trailer, I knew that I would love this song. I love Twice's slower songs. Great way to close of the year for Twice.
btw the donut is a metaphor, and momo said this is horror, dark and has a deep meaning to it when you really think it about it and see the story in the mv and there are a lot of theories about this mv scenes.

This song was such a big surprise for me, I saw the thumbnail and was like "Ok, it's gonna be a Christmas song or a sad ballad" which are not my cup of tea, but damn, it's such a good slow jam, it became my one of my favourites titles tracks by Twice. I'm so glad you guys reacted to it and felt the same way, as always, your reactions are so cool and you guys are so funny, thanks for the video!! 😁😁

This is their first Japanese MV that has English captions upon release and many people did not even notice it. The older Japanese MVs usually take weeks or months to have captions, and some still do not have any.
Deeper and darker than people realize.. So good.. Twice ALWAYS surprises and delivers..
I agree 100% the darker sound is why I love all their b-sides. This year they have put out so many title tracks that all sound completely different, it's amazing

I wish you had the subs on, the lyrics talks about a heartbreak where in the other one stays in the phase where the relationship is still happy and healthy and reminiscing all of the memories “Just like a doughnot wondering into our love loop, no start or end.” Dahyun ended that feeling of being imprisoned to that past by biting the doughnot and “There’s a hole inside my heart with a shape of you” he/she missis that person. Long story short it’s about a break up.
Yes, I rewatched it with subs on, I love the song.. and the meaning behind it is really sad and real... I love this side of Twice

Yes, I love Mina's staring problem lol. And the b side vibe I'm all about, I like how the b sides and title tracks have way different moods. It shows their versatility by releasing so much variety in one year
This is my favorite Japanese song from them, I love ballad songs the most ,the winter - Christmas vibe too, and their voices were amazing , and the lines distribution in this song outstanding actually it’s very rare to see this fairness , 4 sang the chorus.
And Mina acting is a whole other story , I look up to many of the members to pursue acting but the one I look up the most is Mina, I feel that she fits evil smart dangerous roles so much in a good way of course 😂

The man killed them all buy poisoning the Doughnut dahyun gave jihyo the doughnut and when jihyo died she knew than she killed her self. Momo was waiting for him and didn’t know that he was the murder that’s why she was making a Snow man in the heaven. Tzuye was trying to call the girls to warn them but he picked it up and went to her to eliminate her. And finally the final doughnut was a hint from dahyun to mina to let her know. Extra info jihyo was making an angle and there was a place next to her and she kept looking at it because dahyun wasn’t there. And cheayoung took the doughnut out of the woven and the 9 were burned except one ( mina).
And who said that twice is always bubbly and upbeat... I love this song and the fact the video has more to offer than most yet still being simple

I love last waltz too! And doughnut has been hitting the spot since it came out.. I don't think I could be more impressed with Twice than I am, they are killing the game in every way
Maybe u can react christmas song from Stray Kids Christmas EveL.
U guys know stray kids have different sound, so it's very different from another christmas song.
Their japanese MV director clearly has too much creative freedom, they just do whatever pops in their head regardless if it makes sense. Their japanese MVs are always so off BUT it's TWICE so I let it slide, the song was nice and catchy though. With the amount of songs they have released both singles and bsides I feel like they are running out of song titles with naming this one Doughnut 🤣🤣
Lol they have released a lot of content recently. Every time I listen to doughnut it gets better and better. I think their Japanese releases are always the right amount of weird
