How to Find and Photograph the Milky Way using Stellarium

- If you want to photograph the Milky Way core then you need to know how to find it, including where and when it rises and sets in the sky for your shooting location.
There are many softwares and apps that will give you this information.
One of the most powerful and complete is a free software called Stellarium. In this video I show you what you need to know to get started with the program.

Thanks. Stellarium seems so complicated to me -- I'm always trying to find the right controls. (Part of that is that I only use it 2-3 times a year.)
