This is sick i needed this🙏
Happy to help!
I would like to see more in depth videos for the timelines of the Godzilla universe but not just that but other fictional universes as well once you do
You know what? Based.
I'd love to do this for something like Terminator
@@MaxisAllosaurus that would be a great idea do terminators then try the alien universe timeline from Riddle Scott I believe
Riddley Scott, yes.
Part of me wants to, but that series has...burned me so bad lately. Will freely admit, I love the original quadrilogy, yes even 3 and Resurrection. But Prometheus, covenant the just hurt me. I'm really worried about Romulus.
@@MaxisAllosaurus what about the tremors?
Hmm, now that's an idea
Wow, that's something
Absolutely love Your videos
Means the world to hear.
We also do Gaming videos on our other channel here

Boutta get into godzilla, guess i might aswell waatch this!
Also, yes i would like an indepth with possible more visuals as when you were going over the movies i didnt understand which ones you werepointing out(Doesnt help i cant read japanese XD)
Noted, noted.
I really only started watching Godzilla movies with the 2014 Godzilla and I’ve seen most of the Monsterverse movies. The Showa-era timelines remind me of all of the convoluted plots that I’ve heard Neon Genesis Evangelion has: just batshit insanity!
You've got no idea.
Back then, it was a lot of "we got this monster, let's see how people like this monster and this monster AND this one all in one!"
Godzilla was going a cinematic universe DECADES ahead of everyone, Universal did do it first, but Godzilla, Godzilla gave it the sustain.
Corrections:
1. All Monsters Attack is not canon.
2. Destroy All Monsters actually takes place after all the showa Godzilla movies, not between Godzilla Vs. Hedorah and Godzilla Vs. Gigan.
3. Most of the non-Godzilla TOHO movies were no confirmed to be canon......yet. It might've been just some sort of rumor or anything, they could be canon in the showa universe, but it wasn't just confirmed. At least with the obvious exceptions with Rodan and Mothra, but I believe those movies were the only ones that stay true to the showa era continuity.
Nothing I found said it was non-canon officially, most of what I found for that was simply people saying it was a cash in and it contributes nothing to the series. Especially as Monsterland first appeared in AMT, and made a reappearances properly in vGigan.
DAM I put there because the ordering was releasing order, not timeline placement. Same of why the other monster's movies were placed after it. It wasn't meant to be a flow from one to the next. that's why I specificized it takes place in 1999
The other Toho movies are canonical, as everything from Baragon to Varan are specified as a 'second generation' individual, since second generation implies a first generation, and that's the same terminology used to distinguish between the 54 Godzilla, and the Godzilla starting in Raids again. Implying they are canonical.
@@MaxisAllosaurus 1. Oh, but you know All Monsters Attack actually takes place in reality, or the "REAL WORLD", where every existing Godzilla thing does not exist and are only fictional, and all the monster action is just a dream sequence. If you go to Wikizilla, you will read where they actually say that the movie does not take place in any Godzilla timeline, universe, or continuity. You would also notice that in the picture, they also include a list of movies that do not take place in any Godzilla universe, and they included All Monsters Attack.
2. But Destroy All Monsters came out before All Monsters Attack, not after Godzilla Vs. Hedorah.
3. But if look at Wikizilla's picture of every Godzilla timeline, you will notice that Rodan and Mothra are the only ones that were listed in the showa timeline, not the other ones. I mean yeah, I know they did list all the non-Godzilla TOHO movies in the showa timeline on their list of each Godzilla continuity, but still, it really wasn't confirmed that they are canon in the showa timeline while they CAN, be canon in the timeline.
I actually did go to Wikizilla, I checked the continuity section. If it's not listed under timelines, then that was my mistake for not checking the timeline section.
My concern with this was the continuities, which broadly I'm not sure how continuity and timeline differs from one another, as I've always used and seen them used interchangeably. Hence why I said If this does well, and people are interested I'd go into that more in depth in the specific timelines.
If I made a mistake in ordering the movies posters, then that is also on me for saving the file ordering incorrectly.
You forgot that tristar is apart of Godzilla final wars
I actually thought it was before researching and was surprised it wasn't.
It's like with Mothra and Rodan, they exist in Final Wars, but their movies aren't canonical to the film.
So while Zilla is there, the TriStar movie isn't canonical
