Here is some more information about the CPR Certification Institute:
As a Health Ed Solutions Authorized Training Center, CPR Certification Institute was created to achieve a simple goal - to make learning life-saving skills convenient and more accessible for both medical professionals and laypersons. Our commitment to providing robust training and testing options is the driving force behind our curriculum. Our courses are medically accurate, flexible, and engaging.
Our online certification courses are created by board-certified medical professionals and reviewed for accuracy by the Health Ed Solutions Medical Review Board. Each practice test is uniquely generated, and every final exam is designed to ensure you have learned all of the skills to react when there is a life-threatening emergency.
We believe that the more people who know life-saving skills, the more lives that can be saved. Our courses are created to benefit a wide range of people: high school students getting ready to graduate, nurses, physicians, medical techs, first responders, lifeguards, nursing home and daycare workers, and even the average layperson who might someday find themselves in the position of being able to offer aid during an emergency.
Being able to administer appropriate CPR or First Aid care can mean the difference between life and death. Those who do not receive CPR immediately following a cardiac event rarely make it to a hospital alive. Your quick action could mean they have a greater chance of surviving.
Our courses cover CPR and AED training, First Aid, Infant CPR, Babysitting, and Bloodborne Pathogens. We also offer the more advanced ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications. It’s a small time and cost commitment to become certified, but it can make a huge difference in someone’s life. All of our certifications are 100% online and available from any mobile device or computer.
Sign up to become certified today, and join the ranks of trained lifesavers across the globe!

Thank you very much sir for excellent demonstration..specially the use of the adult mask on a Child which is a very nice and new idea for me. Hope to see you more soon sir..
Great video, only the essential to get us ready for ACLS recertification! Thank you!! Get a bit rusty on children and babies, as I'm in adult nursing. Thanks again!
I like the lightheartedness in these videos. Thanks for sharing. Could we use a regular /adult AED on an infant?
Thanks so much for your inquiry. We have passed this question on to our medical review team. Thanks again for watching!
There is usually child pads for the AED
Thanks for the input Sandy!
If you have an AED with adult pads there should be a key to deliver infant shock.
@@roxymami69 I have never seen an AED with a button to deliver an infant shock. Maybe that is something at the ALS level? There is one button to deliver shock on the typical BLS AED.
I thought it was 30 compressions and using 2 fingers from 1 hand. Is it 30 or 15, and what is the most current recommended hand/finger position for the compressions?
For pediatrics you do 15 compressions to 2 breaths with two rescuers. If you are by yourself you can do 30 and 2
@Joseph Scinto it depends on the age of the child if he is under 1 year of age you will use 2 fingers of course because his chest is too small
I love this video.
A mix of infants and adults CPR
thank you!
Isn’t it that no matter the age, the ratio stays the same 30 compression and 2 breath?
Where is the rest?? Wasted my time!
good info but a bit childish in the performance
Thanks for the feedback Mike! Keep saving lives!
Snowflakes...no flipping sense of humor! It gets harder everyday. 🙄
