Mam....i always look for tamilnadu toppers strategy as like every other language toppers especially hindi topper does everyyear but sadly except you and madhubalan sir, no one took sharing toppers strategy in tamil so seriously to motivate and guide youngsters from tamilnadu...pls encourage your colleagues to start doing big to inspire more of us🙏

Neenga tamil nadu background, konjam tamil la unga views soneengana that will be more useful for many aspirants who are still stucked in the same place for how to take the next step. Unga prelims booklist, preparation ways and mains writing methods and many cracking mantras or smart preparation can be learned by many tamil peopls so that many aspirants can be selected more from tamil nadu than other delhi,UP, etc!. There are many plenty of civil servants who guide their state peoples by hindi and english, but very few for tamil aspirants. Hope you were appointed in tamil nadu will help for tamil peoples and also guide tamil nadu aspirants also. Thank you.

Hey Sneha I will advice you to do good academic studies firstly. You can start preparation during second or third year of graduation. Meanwhile you can read some previous year papers of UPSC IAS Prelims exam, syllabus and exam format.
Don't be misleaded by coaching Institutions who offers preparation after 10+2.

you may just start with byjus news analysis , watch it daily and start reading newspaper daily
second year start with subjects that interest you , try knowing your way , how you study and all frame a strategy
third year join coaching or do serious self study from here

You choose the degree according to your interest or if you are very sure of working hard for upsc until you succeed then take arts or science degree like Bsc economy or BA history which can be useful in your optional and you can start your preparation in your college itself having an edge over others.

Ma'am please tell about how to prepare for compulsory language paper Ma'am . As tamil paper doesn't have any source or guidence .. please please .I am facing difficulties in this . Nobody cares about it and no guidence available for this paper . But really many aspirants are disqualified because of this paper . Please share your preparation for this paper . please Ma'am please.
For Tamil compulsory paper, you must score the minimum passing marks. Download the previous year question papers and understand the question pattern. There are many objective questions where you can score marks easily - eg translate from English to Tamil and vice versa. For essay , read newspaper articles and prepare on the common themes - environment, women empowerment and education etc. Any school text book guide from 10th or 12th std would also be useful. If you find it very difficult, practice one previous year qn paper, beforehand and find the areas of difficulties. Then you can work on them. All the best
