thank you, and yes, when shooting a slug, you have to think differently than with pellets, which reach a maximum of 600m and capture the energy of larger hail. Range of our regular ATP slug is around 1400m and the impact energy is around 10J
Going far doesn't happen by itself - there needs to be some extra effort to make it happen. That statement you made shows your ignorance and lack of understanding of the subject. If you miss an animal or target the slug generally doesn't travel very far because it travels at shallow angle and gravity will not magically stop working just because you missed. There is generally only one meter or less to go downwards and to drop that much generally doesn't take much more than 100-200m in the worst case scenario. Yes, slug can travel anywhere from 300m to 2000+ m depending on power settings, BC ... BUT ONLY if fired INTO THE AIR at the optimal angle. Bonus info - If you are firing at targets that are far away you have to hold over or dial up - guess why? It's because the projectile is traveling at high arc. You have to aim sometimes even 10m above the target and the apex of the bullet is significantly higher than that - sometimes even 50+ m above the shooters position. This is just a brief introduction into the subject and I'm hoping you'll pick some useful info from that because ignorance is as dangerous as incompetence.
Darn, looks like ive been beat to my own goal! Been testing and shooting at 740 yards at coke cans currently, with the 51gr atp smooth in .254 cal. Hope to replicate your shots pretty soon!
the main target is a black balloon. The white can was the original point of aim during the first tests and has remained there. Let's say the white can is a special bonus target 😀
I will not share these for now, as we want to offer this equipment in a set with a rifle intended for shooting + 1000 yards . if you want commercial equipment, look for Charlie Tarac, but the price is pretty crazy.
yes pointed bullets are suitable for supersonic speeds but they are not so suitable for subsonic speed. It's similar to an airplane, supersonic fighters have a tip and airliners like Airbus have an oval nose.
yes, it can do it without any problem, even at a lower magnification than x24. I will probably show this in the next part (observed impact from arcan optics recorded by Trigercam).
@@AirgunRegulator I thought it looked like one but it has some sort of modification at the front of the lens it seems. I really want to get one but haven't been able to find one within my budget.
@@MadCowCrazy I have bought it for 3.5 years and the price has only been increasing during that time. I don't know of a better ultra zoom on the market since then. That's why there probably wasn't a drop in price.
INSANELY good! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to Part 2. What this shows is just how far a slug can carry beyond the desired animal or target.

THAT is some amazing engineering and precision!
Thank you
Looking forward to part 2 👀
other parts are already being processed and there is something to look forward to 😉
OMG, you're crazy, look at the angle of your muzzle, unbelievable, man, i just don't believe my eyes, 😱😱
it's a slightly larger angle. For this system, it is the last 1/4 of the maximum (physical) range.
I think this is a new world record
Keep going bro
thanks, but where there is no clear hit there is no record yet 😉
@@AirgunRegulator
I know bro and being so close as like this that's something not easy you almost hit the target at the last shot

Is that a periscope for the binoculars? 😂 😂 😂
yes it is a riflescope device that will add the necessary tilt. Our working name is MoaBooster
Congratz nice shot
thanks, I'm glad you liked the video.
Excuse me, I didn't understand if the black ball was the target or the white object?

looks like a mortar . amazed
sir, i am interested in your DIY periscope, it's necessary for elr, could you share more information about it ,I'll be appreciate it

Video said shoting.
What air gun was that? What fps was it to get that far?
The information is in the text below the video and the main information can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/HfX-zaaURkg/v-deo.html
What was the projectile? Maybe I missed it...
ATP 56gr .22 - this is a lighter version of our .223 ATP SUPER KING 67gr www.militaryairgun.com/domu/224-atp-super-king-67gr-223.html
@@AirgunRegulator Thanks! I knew it wasn't a pellet! (chuckle)
How many J still have the projectile at 1 Mile? Also, were you from ?
about 28J, Czech Republic
@@AirgunRegulatordo you think the sport shooting, hunting, air gun pcp are popular in your country?Be the way l get slug Altaros .In short, unique
@@خالدالقحطاني-ص3ق9م thx, yes airgun is popular, hunting is ilegal with airgun ( not everyone follows it).
Would it help any to have pointed bullets?

@@AirgunRegulator Didn't know that, that'll help out my stuff a lot
Arken they will market this saying their glass can spots hits 1 mile
yes, gravity was also present here, as the highest height of the slug above the ground was 131m (430 ft ) and then it was just a descent down 👇😁
yes, it can do it without any problem, even at a lower magnification than x24. I will probably show this in the next part (observed impact from arcan optics recorded by Trigercam).
What is the camera you use to zoom in on the target with? What is it's magnification?
Nikon COOLPIX P1000 the zoom is close to the maximum, but I didn't note the value.
