- In one of the biggest upsets of the 2019 college football season, South Carolina and Georgia battle it out to a double-overtime game, with South Carolina pulling off the win. Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm leads the day for the Bulldogs with 295 yards and one touchdown and South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski paves the way for the Gamecocks with 116 yards and one touchdown.

Who was thinking a generational defense was on this team at that time? They really grew from this. It made them into Champions. Thank you South Carolina. In a way you helped mold the UGA defense
Fromm has the check down WIDE OPEN streaking left to right across the field for a 1st down on the 3rd down in 2OT and ended up forcing a bad throw into double coverage in the end zone. Wide open

Great win by SC, but not sure why their fans on here are saying they should've beaten Bama. There are two halves to the game, and they didn't score a TD in the second half until there were 11 seconds left in the 4th quarter.

I said we COULD have won. I only say that because we were one yard away from 3 TD and one was stolen because of a foul. With those four we would have won. However that did not happen and I am just arguing what ifs at this point.
marktastic86 if you watched the game you’d know. Had two TDs taken away by the refs. And please believe they were touchdowns. And of course they wore us down in the 2nd half.

In that case, Bama had a TD taken away, as well. TE was in bounds and scored. SC went for it on numerous 4th downs and still couldn't stay close. No way they were winning that game.

Refs took a TD away from Bama, as well. TE never stepped out of bounds but they called him out.

At least Alabama don't lose to unranked opponents. And that's exactly what Georgia accomplished on Saturday. Georgia lost to a South Carolina team who was blown out by 20 points against Missouri. You bring up where was Roll Tide against Clemson in the National Championship, but Georgia hasn't won a National Championship since 8-Track and Cassette Tapes were still relevant.

Not true at all. 1 DB picked off Georgia's QB 3 separate times. UGA choked, like they've been doing since 1981.
@marktastic86 Georgia had a terrible offense in 2019, and Jake Fromm had a terrible year. Georgia choked and gave us the victory, but we were so bad in 2019 there was no way we could've beat them on our own without them screwing up. I do agree that Mukammu did have a great day and the defense did play well, but if Georgia had even a slightly better offense I feel we would've been the ones to choke.
