I was made aware of how strong the mariachi program is in the Texas Rio Grande Valley because of a virtual video someone sent me on my face book page. I was so impressed with how great they sounded, that I started to look for more on You Tube. I found various concerts and competition videos by several of the mariachis from the Valley schools. Then I also received the TMEA all Region 15 video made up of students from several of the Valley high schools, including Roma High school. That virtual video was outstanding. I have really enjoyed all the videos from these outstanding musicians. I did see the Dec 2019 Mariachi Extravaganza competition video in which Roma High School won first place. Congratulations from San Anstonio.

I am from Laredo, Texas, just 90 miles north of Roma and I have followed the Roma group for years. They are always great performers and bring much pride to our Hispanic culture. Ajua!
