Cedar Ridge Farm: house construction slide show Part 1

Part One of a video slide show of the process of building our timber frame straw bale house. This video covers the time period from February 2005 to February 2010. The photos are presented in chronological order and depict the process of building.The house is being built debt-free, utilizing our own labor and time. It is a long-term project with initial design work beginning in 2003. The timber frame took 2.5 years to complete the joinery and raise.
Part Two (coming soon) will show the progress on the house during 2010.

+wboquist It's a Porter Cable portable bandsaw -- called a Porta-band. I bought mine off of Ebay.

The timber frame is 36' x 26'. The whole house with porches is about 56' x 46'.
