Thanks for the tip on the hip pad placement. Still new to hard boats. Since I got my own kayak (instead of borrowing others), my feet and legs are falling asleep within a half hour or so. Will try moving the hip pads up a bit.
And for real, have you ever had trouble mounting a GoPro to the provided mount? The screw head will always prevent the camera mount bracket from siding on all the way. It seems to be like this on all JK boats.

Yea I think there was a batch or two of boats affected by the screw thing you describe. I have certainly had a boat or two like that. I just ditch the screw and use the sticky back peel off of the mount

Works way better if you take the adhesive backing off the other side of the foam block too.

Joel TLOU my one didn’t have adhesive backing? And easier to tsmakd the foot plates out to load overnight gear

Seat bolts may shake loose on a long drive( ie 1000+K from the factory) and should be checked before sitting in kayak after any bumpy ride.

PREACH! Yea for sure if you drive your boat a long way then checking your seat bolt every time is a great habit to be in.

amen always check the boat after transport especialy after driving on woods roads i always buy dagger boats becouse jackson does not have any retailers here in norway but dagger does

Yea after market care is important for sure, but even without it is totally worth it.
