He cant survive he needs a defense buff fr the reason he is squishy is because he deals tons if damage with his skills so devs had to balance him out but now meta is filled with status reduction characters when that is what luffy needs most to survive they should just buff his defense and hes alright
Luffy is still a damage monster but with a resistance buff and an increase in his stake of 3% with each hit being 5% and his attack reaching 100%
