I wonder if my mp145 is og or “new”. I did the kickstarter and got the blue one. It sounds fantastic either way, maybe not as good as my timeless ae, but good.

Silly question i guess: maybe the magnetic field 'straighten' them out?

was about to comment on the previous with questions but you read my mind, then again this raises more questions wonder how they will overcome the membrane manufacturing process, we need a material scientist or we need to grow tympanic membrane in a lab and use that, imagine!!!!! wtf am i saying

I was thinking the MEMS styled drivers which are computer chips essentially have 1000x tighter tolerances than these drivers.

They need to have better and slower manufacturing. clearly smashing to layers of metal and magnets is sub-optimal. It would be better to create a sealed buffer between the materials that allows for slight imperfections in surfaces and such.

hmmmmm nano printing the hole stack with the different materials then slide in the magnets from an opening on the sides just dreaming here :D@@MichaelBruceShortbus

now that sony is in the planar game, you think the tech will excel quicker ? plus they have wireless planar earbuds coming out worth dissecting if you know what i mean aka destroy :P
