When the government views the people that they are supposed to govern and lead with such distrust and contempt then resentment will grow. Genuine out of touch Westminster idiots.
Unfortunately I can see Starmer using the excuse of protecting children etc on the internet as a cynical way of closing down criticism of the government and certain groups in society.
The Online Safety Act 2023 is supposed to protect children. Labour appropriated the mis- and disinformation portion of the act (along with the Malicious Communications Act) to prosecute people after the Southport Atrocities for `hate speech’ and `mis-information’. So much easier to lock up the opposition than to address their issues
So Starmer labelling all of the rioters guilty of their crimes and being far right was definitely contempt of court and could interfere with the course of justice.
In Starmer's speech and the one Cooper is now making there is a disturbing emphasis on online/social media content. This continued erosion of free speech and access to information is very worrying. Again in the interests of protecting their favourite community they are suggesting that access to nasty stuff online is as much or more to blame than ideologies for these acts of terrorism. I wonder if this inquiry would ever have happened had the public NOT had access to the information that Starmer and Co are now admitting.
How Kier Starmer could claim that speaking out might allow someone who committed three homicides, caused additional injuries, and has been caught to walk away free is completely absurd.
Starmer still failed to call this a terrorist act today. There are many examples of past terrorist acts being named a terrorist act ( in the last 20 years) very soon after the event ?
Imagine being a member of the nationalist community in Northern Ireland. They felt the full force of the law with no exception but then again they are Whyte.

They still won't call it an act of terrorism. Even though he had the Al-Qaeda book on terrorism. How can the government lie so badly? If they had announced who they had arrested and that it was under the terrorism act what difference would that have made to the case?
Hi Daniel, the speech Starmer made about far right and EDL was complete rubbish. Rather than protect us from terrorism, he said he'd protect Muslims and Moques.
The GB News question very specifically stated "not the rioters" and Starmer pointedly ignored that. Starmer's upset is unimpressive, as he is part of the problem. Attributing any public protest, even peacable, to the "far right" is deliberately provocative and inexcusable.
They are now hiding behind contempt of court. They did not appeal for calm at the time and point out the possibility of contempt of court. They went into their default mode of blaming anyone who asked questions or expressed an opinion on this horrific crime as "Far Right". Or they alleged that anyone questioning or expressing an opinion was using this terrible crime for "political ends". In fact, it is the Labour Party that has and is using this case in order to close down free speech, take back control of the narrative on any and all subjects and frighten anyone who expresses an opinion with which they disagree.
I have never seen a prime minister squirm like a worm on a hook as much as Starmer. No other prime minister has adressed the piblic as much as he has when in hot water. It reeks of guilt and i am very happy he is not adept as the other see you next tuesdays before him at hiding this guilt.
We used to make steel, we used to like farmers, we used to laugh occasionally at political satire. I believe that the cultivation of anger seems to be their objective, and remembering Yoda who said ''Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to Starmer!'' *_We have a civil responsibilty to not being domesticated by criminals!_*
We are run by globalists who believe in social control to promote agendas that benefit the super wealthy. So it’s socialism for us, capitalism for them.
Starmers issue is that we are not thinking the correct way. His narcissistic personality means he has to correct us. Any deviation clearly offends him. We are merely plebs.
Starmer, the BBC and many more are redundant. We aren’t as stupid as they think we are. That’s why we’re here getting the facts. Thank you BBB for enlightening us.
The Contempt of Court Act assumes that any exposure to the public of information or commentary regarding a crime is prejudicial to a trial. This unwarranted assumption is condescending towards the public and judges as it treats them as unable to decide a case based on the evidence before them. Other countries are not nearly as restrictive, and it's a typical British attitude not to trust the integrity and judgement of the public. Daniel, just because the Act says something doesn't make it right.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive” is a line from the poem Marmion by Sir Walter Scott. It's a metaphor that describes how dishonest actions can lead to a series of complications that become difficult to control.

A commentator after 'The News at One' on BBC R4 today, 21 January 25 has just said that social workers who visited Radukubana in his home (what?) asked to be accompanied by police 'for their safety'. To me, this would raise some questions AT THE TIME.🤔

Hang on a minute. Tommy Robinson was sentenced for contempt of court for "interfering with a court case". He was an investigating journalist who approached several defendants AFTER they had been found guilty by a jury, but before sentencing took place. How can Starmer talk about this case, after the defendent has been found guilty (by plea) but before sentencing?
The question should be that IF his parents were being accused of horrific war crimes, WHO decided they should be allowed here! Because that person should also be in the dock.
Anyone with any integrity would have walked by now, but still he sieves through all this crap that should have him locked up, it's clear he has been put there for a task, another one just like years ago on the CPS
Stamer: I couldn't call the terrorist, a terrorist, as that could bias the court. Also Stamer: All the people that disagreed with me are far-whuite terrorists... Double standards...
Thanks Daniel. I agree, what Starmer said was essentially correct, but he really did deflect by making mini speeches without answering the (very good) questions which were put. We all get the need to limit the release of information so as not to jeopardise any prosecution. But ... The public was told at the time, that the atrocty was not terror related, when the authorities and Starmer knew of evidence that clearly indicated the exact opposite! That's blatant misinformation which is not excused by reference to the contempt of court provisions. As for the rioting, there's no excuse for that either but the questioner's point was about Starmer labelling every participant as far right wing. Starmer hasn't provided any evidence or justification for that label. On the contrary, it appears that the protesters were simply members of the community, with no particular political leaning, who were rightly concerned about mass killings and woundings, carried out in their community. I doubt that many.folks will be reassured or impressed by today's speech. In fact, his rush to announce a public inquiry over the Southport incident, is I believe intended to take the heat out of the widespread call for such an inquiry into the child grooming gangs. If so, he has miscalculated badly, because no one will give up on that! Keep up the good work. 👏
Peter Sutcliffe (the Yorkshire Ripper) wouldn't have been jailed at all. If this kind of micro management of information was in place back then.. AARrrgghh!!!
Any legislation that allows an individual caught in the act of mass murder to walk free under ANY circumstances is a seriously flawed piece of legislation .
I am not particular religious but I do recall that in the 'end days' the scripture says that 'they will call good evil and evil good'. Thats exactly whats happening.
If Starmer had come out in the earliest instance and said "This was an isolated terror incident and the culprit is in custody" then most of the riots wouldn't have happened. I hope that everyone who got arrested for hurty words online about this gets a full pardon and compensation.
Weird how now one of the victims isn't white, suddenly the victims and their families deserve answers. There's still people in prison for saying he was a Muslim terrorist and not a Christian choir boy from Cardiff.

That’s different, they’re not guaranteed Labour voters
Is it only a crime to be Far Right? What about the Far Left line on the graph.
Unfortunately I can see Starmer using the excuse of protecting children etc on the internet as a cynical way of closing down criticism of the government and certain groups in society.
Sure no islamophobia to protect the children from rape gangs!
I don't care what shite Starmer says he needs to go.
He says the officers were traumatized. What about the families of the murdered children He dodged the question as per his usual answers.
What about the other children and adults and the ambulance crews
Starmer never answers
So Starmer labelling all of the rioters guilty of their crimes and being far right was definitely contempt of court and could interfere with the course of justice.
If they were yelling for a another Floydd drug overdose in the US then the Police would be on the knee's and the government saying it's justified.
Yes, focussing on the Internet, deflecting from on the ground reality, rape gangs terrosing our white KIDS, THE HARRYING OF BRITAIN
They don't fix the problem, just the reaction
Not forgetting - it's all Amazon's fault he got the knife ffs.
The media cut away from most of the proper questions asked by the journalists
the 'state backed' media
How Kier Starmer could claim that speaking out might allow someone who committed three homicides, caused additional injuries, and has been caught to walk away free is completely absurd.
It does not matter what Starmer says, we will not believe him. We need reform.
The bbc does not deserve the license money,
They haven't had a penny from me for nearly 20 years.
Thats true, hope you arent giving them any ?
His speech, all his speeches, mean nothing- unless they’re followed by actions and results, and he doesn’t start making excuses tomorrow (again).
Starmer is a snake and hiding his cover up using the law
He is a snake hiding in the grass and the law is the grass.
Message for Keir Starmer (borrowing some of the words and reasoning from the summing up by Judge Jeremy Richardson at the sentencing of Peter Lynch):
"You did not yourself murder Peter Lynch, as far as can be detected, but what you did, by your conduct, was to cause the death of Peter Lynch. You were part of this mob of politicians, police and judiciary. What a disgraceful example you are as a prime minister. For this offence, justice will be served once you are locked up for life; the inmates won't like you, so if you're not currently quaking in your boots, you need to be."
What cover up ? Criminal in jail, public enquiry to establish failings, That’s the opposite of a cover up.
@@jonnyb2774We haven't heard the terms of the inquiry yet.
They still won't call it an act of terrorism. Even though he had the Al-Qaeda book on terrorism. How can the government lie so badly? If they had announced who they had arrested and that it was under the terrorism act what difference would that have made to the case?
Tice reckons it was normal procedure pre Starmer
The police only arrest photographers and people that film the police, under the terrorism act.
"Things should be learnt" Yes we should adopt the Polish model.
Hi Daniel, the speech Starmer made about far right and EDL was complete rubbish. Rather than protect us from terrorism, he said he'd protect Muslims and Moques.
What does the sodding EDL have to do with ANYTHING ?
Especially ironic as AR probably was turned in a mosque
The GB News question very specifically stated "not the rioters" and Starmer pointedly ignored that. Starmer's upset is unimpressive, as he is part of the problem. Attributing any public protest, even peacable, to the "far right" is deliberately provocative and inexcusable.
Starmer never answers a question not from the press or during PMQs
They are now hiding behind contempt of court. They did not appeal for calm at the time and point out the possibility of contempt of court. They went into their default mode of blaming anyone who asked questions or expressed an opinion on this horrific crime as "Far Right". Or they alleged that anyone questioning or expressing an opinion was using this terrible crime for "political ends". In fact, it is the Labour Party that has and is using this case in order to close down free speech, take back control of the narrative on any and all subjects and frighten anyone who expresses an opinion with which they disagree.
They're beyond contempt! Those poor girls and their families !
@@MsStack42 Starmer and his minions are also hiding behind the families of the poor girls. As if they care about them or any of us.
I have never seen a prime minister squirm like a worm on a hook as much as Starmer.
No other prime minister has adressed the piblic as much as he has when in hot water.
It reeks of guilt and i am very happy he is not adept as the other see you next tuesdays before him at hiding this guilt.
He must know that he Free Gear Kier is the most hated person in the country
He is not a real prime minister, he is a cardboard idealogue, a puppet.
The propaganda was appalling ..described as a choir boy from wales when THEY KNEW ! They lied deliberately lied ! Is there any questions on this ?
The BBC should have known him, seeing he did some work for them.
Every single boat person has shown a disregard for our laws by their criminal action of breaking in to the country and are therefore a risk .
We used to make steel, we used to like farmers, we used to laugh occasionally at political satire. I believe that the cultivation of anger seems to be their objective, and remembering Yoda who said ''Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to Starmer!''
*_We have a civil responsibilty to not being domesticated by criminals!_*
Interference at the top level, and probably more to come..... surprised? Not anymore
Does he EVER answer a question? 😡
He doesent lower himself to give answers... only scripted word salad
Did Starmer prejudice the 'rioters ' cases by calling them far right?
Didn't the newspapers have their mugshots up before they were sentenced ?
No speech. We want investigation into Starmer involvement in the grooming gangs. Speeches are ephemeral.
Not Grooming Gangs, Rape Gangs
Far right.
Gets mentioned all the time, ok.
Far left.
Never gets mentioned.
Does it exist?
We are run by globalists who believe in social control to promote agendas that benefit the super wealthy. So it’s socialism for us, capitalism for them.
tbf people do refer to the radical left
Far left is all the woke idiocy currently destroying society..... minorities trying to destroy the rights of the majority.
Starmer IS far left so he will not say it. Look at his past to see how LEFT he is
That’s true. I know ANTIFA exists and is at the heart of most protests and yet we don’t hear anything official about them.
I'm 69 and i have never experienced such a deceitful P.M in all my post teen life, never have I detested a government more.
Starmers issue is that we are not thinking the correct way. His narcissistic personality means he has to correct us. Any deviation clearly offends him. We are merely plebs.
He's EDUCATED . Bigot !
‘They’ will be punished! 😡
It is always selectively enforced. Lots of innocent people have had their lives ruined by the media before being found innocent in court.
There is a diminishing faith in any system to offer any protection from any atrocities from any source.
Still angry about this.
Kier Starmer upset? He cares about nobody other than himself. He is totally out of touch with everybody.
Thats very unkind .He must care about his son as he managed to find him a pad to study for his exams. Not to sure how he did ,he must have forgotten to tell us.
@@ianmather Was it for his son ? I believe his sons exams had ended by then
So the Political prisoner's can be released for telling the truth????
Can we sue these ministers? Are they above the law?
Just retired and this is the worst I have seen this country!
He shouldn’t be in parliament full stop
By labelling far right anyone that disagrees with labour makes a nonsense of any meaningful discussion. Poor political judgment from a lawyer
I meant Starmer not you!!!
Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive” is a line from the poem Marmion by Sir Walter Scott. It's a metaphor that describes how dishonest actions can lead to a series of complications that become difficult to control.
Top of the class sir
Yea it was a line read out by a tory member in the past, she thought it sounded intelligent so tried to impress her colleagues by reading it out in parliament....I think it may have been used in an episode of Yes Minister on the T.V could be wrong about that though.....
A commentator after 'The News at One' on BBC R4 today, 21 January 25 has just said that social workers who visited Radukubana in his home (what?) asked to be accompanied by police 'for their safety'. To me, this would raise some questions AT THE TIME.🤔
Always blame the social workers
Immigrants needing social care support (which costs a fortune) = deport
@@HelenSCOTT-t5i many are to blame potentially including social workers (who seem to be pc do-gooders not wanting to stop real harm if the person is the wrong colour). A sweeping generalisation which may be unfair - but I bet I’m not far wrong
Tommy refused to open his phone ,because it had information on it appertaining to Rape Survivor's of Muslim Gang's.
Hope Keir likes tuna........
Starmer actually has a complex of believing he is intellectually superior to the general public.
The question should be that IF his parents were being accused of horrific war crimes, WHO decided they should be allowed here! Because that person should also be in the dock.
They LIED - different from not revealing information.
At no point in his speech did the PM acknowledge his own shortcoming, only those of others.
According to starmer he has none!
Because to admit is to pull the straw that sits the throne of multiculturalism.
I write this with a Nepalese wife btw to whom i have multiple children before the fingers start pointing.
Starmer is stained throughout the UK over this issue and people won’t forget
Anyone with any integrity would have walked by now, but still he sieves through all this crap that should have him locked up, it's clear he has been put there for a task, another one just like years ago on the CPS
As soon as I saw the BBC report I thought they've been sat on that waiting for the end of the trial whenever that was to happen
Love how you take context into consideration. Even the front page of some newspapers didn't mention the case, i'm boycotting all of them.
Starmer must resign. Also it is impossible to police every bit of information online.
It was a load of tutt
Does not matter if I am far right what people thought was largely found to be correct
He never answers the question .
No it didn’t go any where near far enough. He didn’t call for a general election.
Surely all the “far right” unjustly accused people who are currently in prison should be released.
Any legislation that allows an individual caught in the act of mass murder to walk free under ANY circumstances is a seriously flawed piece of legislation .
I have nothing but utter contempt for this vile excuse of a Prime Minister.
I am not particular religious but I do recall that in the 'end days' the scripture says that 'they will call good evil and evil good'. Thats exactly whats happening.
See. : - Isaiah Chps 55 & 59,, Amos-
We very much appreciate you Daniel. Thank you for your work 😊
If Starmer had come out in the earliest instance and said "This was an isolated terror incident and the culprit is in custody" then most of the riots wouldn't have happened.
Far right? Is that anyone who recognises a traditional family as man + woman + 2 children? Wants small state responsible for basic services, a reasonable level of health care, and low taxes making work worth going to, oh and freedom of opinion and choice?🤣
Good on you Daniel, grateful for sharing your insights into the legal system.
