When Dewey was freaking out the birth was gonna have to happen Thursday, I could tell there was a special thing supposed to go on that day. And before it was even revealed what it was, I had a feeling it was his birthday. I wish Lois was with Hal when he found out that they picked the birth to happen on Dewey's birthday. While I am glad Hal found out what he did wrong, Lois should've known too.

It’s like in the episode “Red Dress” when she was supposed to meet with Hal at a restaurant for their anniversary dinner, but Lois found out her dress was burnt. With that, she stayed at home for hours with the boys making them going through various stuff to see who will confess. It took until finally around near the end of the episode for Lois to see the present the boys wrapped for her for the anniversary and that is when she remembered that Hal was still at the restaurant and realized she has been keeping him waiting for her there. In addition, if Lois did know they were going to have the birth on Dewey’s birthday, that means she knew that they would’ve been taking away Dewey’s special day. She would never take away something that special to him because she knew that wouldn’t be fair. For example, that was an opening to an episode in which she and Hal had some donuts or whatever for them and the boys, but they realized they only had three which was not enough for all five of them. With that, Lois was willing to not have one and she said whatever they decided, they needed to make sure that Dewey had one because they needed to be fair to him. If Lois remembered that Dewey’s birthday was on Thursday, she would’ve known it wasn’t fair to him. I mean, sure, there was that episode in which Lois would not buy Dewey baking soda for his group volcano project in science class because she didn’t care and she just told him to blame one of the other kids, which then resulted in Dewey getting an F. Melissa Berezowski no this one is obviously fake, BUT in some episodes she was really pregnant. Even in the first season she was pregnant. You can barely tell but if you look closely in the first episodes she’s definitely pregnant.
Am I the only 1 that thinks Lois and Hal are terrible parents? I know most people say that their kids are so awful which they are , but in their defence Hal and Lois really didn't raise them very well at all.
I will actually can sympathize with both. It really depends on the circumstance. Sometimes it's Dewey, sometimes Malcom, sometimes Lois, Hal, or some other character. It is circumstantial in my opinion.
