@@R.CAR_ADVENTURES At 0:26 timestamp. "V8000" . And by the way, the Ford 429 was not slightly larger than the 428. Both the Ford 429 and the Ford 428 were *the same displacement. Both were 428 cubic inches* but Ford wanted to create an identity for the new engine and they called it the 429 to avoid confusion with the existing 428 they had been making already. General Motors did similar things due to Corporate Bans on engine size in certain cars for certain years so that an engine larger than for example 400 cubic inches was _named_ a smaller displacement but it was in name only. Buick for instance had a 430 in 1969 but did not put it in their GS, that car had a 400, which really wasn't a 400 at all. The 427 & 428 were FE engines, these were an early big block from Ford. There were slight differences in bore and stroke between the two. If I remember correctly the 427 was a little longer stroke and the 428 was a shorter stroke with a larger bore. The 429 was the new big block from Ford along with the 460 that came later. There was only a very limited number of Boss 429's which were the Hemi headed engine, most were a wedge combustion chamber.
