Incredible band... Seriously one of the best to come from the UK in the last 20 years . Great live. Probably the loudest gig I've ever been to when I saw them about 17 years ago at Brixton academy. The sound properly enveloped you. Worth checking out some more. Also look at their past. Used to be a band called sub sub who jacked it all in and started again as Doves when their studio and recordings all burned down. The play a sub sub song at gigs called space face.
Great song - definitely, one of the best live performances I've seen on that programme. POUNDING and KINGDOM OF RUST (by Doves), are also worth checking out.
Weirdly, both times I've seen this band live, it's been opening for Oasis. Wembley 2000 and Manchester 2005. Great stuff. Pounding is another killer tune from the same album, as is The Cedar Room from their first one.
One of the most underrated bands ever. Their song Catch The Sun live at electric proms with backing choir is amazing
Love this band ♥️

If there ain’t no love, then there ain’t no use . Good knowledge
I saw Status Quo live when I was 14. That was in 1989., still can’t hear properly. That was a loud gig..😂
@@dannjp75 well known fact that just using three chords does the most damage to your ears when played very loudly. Haha..
Great song.. the official video pretty great as well. Good request/reaction
Thanks Rob glad you liked it 👍
Love this band. In my top 10. The Official Music video for this track is a gem
From Manchester just released a new album 2 months ago, class band
They are so good.
They made dance music before, but pivoted after their studio burned down with 40k worth of equipment inside

Doves are from Manchester. Formerly called Sub Sub.

The first album is a masterpiece
I really enjoyed the video to this, some middle aged man having a mental breakdown goes off on one. Great track, great choice.
