The haunted, mournful qualities in Ozzy’s voice are on full display in this song. Geoff is one of the all time best metal singers and he does great here, but, yeah, nothing matches that heart breaking hopelessness in the way Ozzy sings it.
47 years old and this song still brings tears to my eyes. When I read that Tate did a duo with Lita, I had to look it up. 2 of my favorite 80s memory bands.
ive seen Ozzy & queensryche in there prime ,Geoffe,s voice blows Ozzy away live !!Ozzy gets alot of help in the studio , but the man still is a legend & Tate is soooo very underestemated professionally train Opera singer . (just 1 mans opinion )
Had the pleasure to see this live@ Pierre's in Ft.wayne In. Live was awesome Queensryche rocked! Don't remember the year, but will never forget the concert!
I would have loved to hear Geoff Tate, in his prime, do this song with Lita Ford in a studio. It would have sounded amazing. No offense to Ozzy, but during Tate's heyday, no mainstream hard rock vocalist could match his power and range.
Geoff, simply the best progressive, hard, rock overall singers ever!!!! Until 2003, 2004, no one ever came even close to him (except Ray Alder). Lucky of those who know that he exists.
Both insane singers. Ray and Geoff were insane in their prime. Not gonna lie tho, they're still bloody great. Lave queensryche and fates warning with both John Arch and Ray
Ray Alder in his prime what incredible but I slightly preferred Tate's tone. There was Michael Kiske who had a range and tone very similar to Tate Also.
Geoff Tate's voice is incredible. Queensryche has always been one of my all time favorite band. Geoff sounds amazing! Glad to see Lita again after all these years. Thanks for posting this. So cool!
The ol' gal can still belt it out. I love Lita Ford. I love ALL of those metal goddesses from the great metal era of the 80's. I miss those days SO much. The music just isn't what it used to be...
geoff tate has a voice from an angel. when i was a toddler, my mom would play queensryche for me to sleep to. im a metal head for life. long live queensryche1
WOW ^ WOW - many have covered this song including @Liliac but, bar the original, this is the BEST! Lita still has it and Geoff, you did Ozzy proud! THANK YOU both soooo much!
Lita Ford, Who I bought the ticket for(since I had seen Queensryche many times) Stiffed us as an opening act in Indy, when she was a no show for her set and came out to do this one song at The Vogue. I was so pissed!!! You owe me a free show Lita!!! LOL
Yes, Mr. Tate proved he is indeed human and sang Ms. Ford's 2nd verse part. And yes, Mr. Osborne does have a unique voice, but few have a voice like Geoff!
dreamssoblue..... Geoff tate and ozzy are 2 totally different style singers... Im sure Geoff wasn't trying to imitate ozzy, he put his own unique spin of this tune..... Great Job....
This would have been very cool to see live. Sure, it's not Ozzy, but guaranteed everyone at that venue knew they were witnessing something special and enjoying every second of it.
Queen of the Reich was a demo track that no other singer has ever demonstrated there range like Geoff Tate did.The Warning there first studio album IS LEGENDARY !! TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME HAS NEVER BEEN DUPLICATED!! GEOFF IS TRULY A PROG GODFATHER! Truly one of the greatest singers to have walked the Earth!!
The night of this concert nothing was gonna stop me from going ! Earlier right b4 this concert, I broke my ankle & leg, while dodging a car runing a red light in Brooklyn . Yea I was the one wheeled in a wheelchair to this concert! lol
She still smokes that fretboard . Love this version with Geoff Tate . This song makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Still a very talented and beautiful woman .
As much as I love Lita Ford, she will always be the second most famous runaway, sad......amazing legend here. As far as Queensryche go.........hahahahahahahaha, always amazing.... Geoff Tate baby....
As a teenager during 80's and the peak of the metal hair bands, (remember $14.50 to see a concert????) sad to see us all get old....or older....but seriously what new music today even compares???????
Dave Rabourn i was gonna talk some shit but i seen lita and ozzy perform this back then and i agree ...not many new bands have the heart or the talant to even compare...this i sucked pretty bad though....i was embarrassed for lita and a little insulted that the imposters on stage thought theyd fool anybody into thinking they were actually queensryche
just about everything now is better,we like to think everything was amazing back in the day but it was pretty bad(a lot of it was)there would be no now without the then but there was a lot of shit then too. listen to lamb of god, five finger death punch, avenged 7 fold ,killswitch engaged, bullet for my valentine yngwie malmstein, steve vai ,joe satriani ,dream theatre and thousands of other new/newer bands that are out now and have taken metal to a much higher level than it ever was.

Wonder if they had good monitors...Lita's pitch is not what I thought it would be. Whoever made the comment about Tate not having the range Ozzy does (or did) obviously has no clue.
She always will rock. While many people who know of her acknowledge that she's a good guitarist, she's highly under rated. And while she was a real hottie when she was younger, she's still hot. Most women her age would kill to look as good as she does.
geoff tate has a voice of an angel. when i was a toddler, my mom would play quennsryche to me to put me to sleep. metal head for life!!!!
As great of a singer as he is nobody can deliver this any where near how Ozzy did.
The haunted, mournful qualities in Ozzy’s voice are on full display in this song. Geoff is one of the all time best metal singers and he does great here, but, yeah, nothing matches that heart breaking hopelessness in the way Ozzy sings it.

Geoff Tate is, was, and always will be Queensryche... What a great duet with Lita 💪💪💪💪
Geoff Tate and Chris Degarmo will always be Queensryche.
They made the great vocal sound that was Queesriche.
Yes. I agree.
I HEAR THAT BUT THE GUY HE HAS NOW SOUNDS GOOD GOOGLE 2019 OPERATION MINDCRIME THERE TOURING THE EAST
no doubt , when chris left it was never quite the same , and now Geoff and scott are gone its more like a tribute band
Definitely. Edgar our and Tate
Damm, that was awesome ❤
Lita Ford is still bloody gorgeous ❤❤❤❤❤
Operation Mind Crime Tour was a masterpiece of Dedication, Talent, Imagination and Sound Quality Perfection.
ive seen Ozzy & queensryche in there prime ,Geoffe,s voice blows Ozzy away live !!Ozzy gets alot of help in the studio , but the man still is a legend & Tate is soooo very underestemated professionally train Opera singer . (just 1 mans opinion )

Ya'll need to appreciate the performance they are giving u and quit complaining
Absolutely AMAZING!! Geoff Tate is a legend. You gotta love Lita she is AMAZING TOO.
I would have loved to hear Geoff Tate, in his prime, do this song with Lita Ford in a studio. It would have sounded amazing. No offense to Ozzy, but during Tate's heyday, no mainstream hard rock vocalist could match his power and range.
I agree; because there is ONLY ONE Geoff Tate - and HE IS THAT ONE!!! No wonder, I am one of his loyal fans - I love his voice.
Drake Santiago he's amazing, saw him ten times AFTER his heyday. He's amazing, but what can you say about an opera trained rocker
Drake, Tate's heyday went on for 30 years?
Ozzy NVR had a voice like tate....
Halford DONT DISMISS THE MAN......

this is definitely the one of the saddest songs i've ever listened to... and the voice of lita is just pure love.. thank you
Two original one of a kind artists. What a great cover!
Geoff Tate's voice is incredible. Queensryche has always been one of my all time favorite band. Geoff sounds amazing! Glad to see Lita again after all these years. Thanks for posting this. So cool!
same. queenryche has always been my number one favorite band in the world!! plus geoff has one of the best voices in the universe!!!
As Lita says, this brings tears.. I love this song n this version even more than the one she made with Ozzy.. So Beautiful!!
I saw them in Nashville on Veterans Day during this tour. They were fantastic! Geoff did a wonderful job filling in for Ozzy on this song.
Perhaps the best live version of this song ever
Gotta love technology.
I wouldn't have ever experienced this without us moving forward.
What an awesome time to be alive! Thanks!
He makes it look effortless....
I've been a fan of both and I just love this footage...
Lita @ 0:08-0:09 "Your voice brings tears to my eyes"
You have NO idea.
That's the best damn version I've heard so far!!! \m/
Our rock goddess! There is only one Lita! I will always love you!
Thank you for rocking us!
I LOVE this song...and I LOVE Geoffrey Tate's AWESOME voice! Great combination w/Lita Ford!
How did I not know this existed!!!?? Great tune, great vocals.
Lita still looking and sounds great.
Best live duet ever by the most underrated voice in hair........tate WILL NOT LISTEN TO RYCHE' WITHOUT HIM
You should remind your generation that without this treasure, the stuff they listen to wouldn't exist.
WOW ^ WOW - many have covered this song including @Liliac but, bar the original, this is the BEST! Lita still has it and Geoff, you did Ozzy proud! THANK YOU both soooo much!
Lita´s voice is just fantastic.
Lita is awesome! So Awesome She should be called Lita Chevy Since I own a Chevy and not a Ford Lita Chevy Ladies and Gentlemen!!!!!1
In the last couple years I have seen both perform (unfortunately not together) but they are still both absolutely amazing!
Lita Ford, Who I bought the ticket for(since I had seen Queensryche many times) Stiffed us as an opening act in Indy, when she was a no show for her set and came out to do this one song at The Vogue. I was so pissed!!! You owe me a free show Lita!!! LOL
Damn this is great. They both still have it !
been watching a lot of QR lately but, I never thought I wouls see this...FRICKEN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lita FORD ....A living legend!!!!!!!
Yes, Mr. Tate proved he is indeed human and sang Ms. Ford's 2nd verse part. And yes, Mr. Osborne does have a unique voice, but few have a voice like Geoff!
No, that was Lita's mistake, that was Ozzy's part. I think SHE was nervous!
That was beautiful. Truly brought tears to my eyes
Thanks for sharing, Didnt know this existed. Two of the best voices...
Hard to find Tate doing anyone else's songs, this is good!

Omg the two of them together cant be matched !!! They are beautiful
I love the real musicians that still sound awesome 35 years later!!!

The night of this concert nothing was gonna stop me from going ! Earlier right b4 this concert, I broke my ankle & leg, while dodging a car runing a red light in Brooklyn . Yea I was the one wheeled in a wheelchair to this concert! lol

good to see she's still doing what she loves...
Awesome duo!
nobody could touch tate.best vocal range in metal
No disrespect to Ozzy, but this is the best version ever recorded of this song.
this was awesome!!!! ty
Wonder if they had good monitors...Lita's pitch is not what I thought it would be.
Whoever made the comment about Tate not having the range Ozzy does (or did) obviously has no clue.
Lita was never a great vocalist.
Geoff has more range in his toenail clippings than Ozzy had in his career.
If that double lead doesn't give you chills you may be dead. Awesome!!
That was really good!
She always will rock. While many people who know of her acknowledge that she's a good guitarist, she's highly under rated. And while she was a real hottie when she was younger, she's still hot. Most women her age would kill to look as good as she does.
wow Queensryche and Lita Ford ... amazing ...
She was still rock'n'roll at the time...She always is!!!!!
Holy shit Lita and Geoff Tate!
Geoff Tate vocal match perfect in this song!!
Awesome !!
They sound awesome together.
awesome, i love both artists.
brilliant performance !
You go Lita !!! I love a gal who plays guitar so well !

Oh my fucking God I am so thankful this the best duet ever best song Geoff and Lita you rock thanks

this sends shivers down my spine.
literally, i'm shaking with excitement just seeing lita ford in action again!
Damn, he imitates exactly the way Ozzy sang it, thats gorgeous
