It isn't really possible to tune any guitar perfectly; the tempered scale of guitar frets is an imperfect compromise which allows guitarists to play any chord in any key and sound more or less in tune, but not perfectly. Also, mugham music is microtonal so a truly correct rendition needs to be played on a fretless instrument, which I am working on currently to be good enough to record and upload. The guitar is always a tuning compromise; I use it for it's ease of playing (much easier than Azerbaijani tar, physically) and it's rich tonal quality and sustain. Microtones are important, but also important is the "phraseology", how notes and pauses are clustered together to make phrases and phrase groups. Azerbaijani mugham "phraseology" is unique among musical genres, and that is what is emphasized by playing on guitar. You have a good ear, that's for sure.
