I got saved in June of 2021 and I've been deeply struggling with, what we may call, "a classic American church". So much of what I read in scripture doesn't line up with certain teachings and attitudes. I've felt for a while now that the Gospel is SO MUCH MORE than dying and going to heaven. FAI studios is such a blessing and these teachings are affirming what I've been learning by just sitting at the feet of Christ.
I barely have one friend I can talk to about this stuff! The church is so asleep. God, wake up your church and strengthen those who aren't expecting to go through the hardships that are coming! Please show me more of those who are awake. Come Lord Jesus!

I wanted to point out something about what most of Christianity calls the “letters to the seven churches”… Rev. 1:10-11 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, *** WRITE IN A BOOK ***, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. John was told by God that what he sees to *WRITE IN A BOOK*, and send it to the seven churches. He wasn’t told to only send what we know as chapters 2 & 3 in “letters” to the seven churches in Asia Minor. He was told what he SEES… THAT IS EVERYTHING! ALL OF REVELATION, CHAPTERS 1-22. I find this a perfectly orchestrated maneuver of the enemy to keep God’s people in the dark by stopping after chapter three, as though the rest of Revelation is not for them just because the word, “church” is not written, so they say, in the rest of Revelation. BUT IT IS! Rev. 22:16 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Many people understand some of the fine points of chapters 4 & 5, but totally miss the intended meaning. What message was God giving to John in these two chapters? I began to meditate on chapters 4 & 5. Finally I got stuck in John weeping much, and I could not get away from that. I began to bug God about that, asking Him why we needed to know why John wept, and why it was “much.” Finally God spoke and said, “it shows timing.” Again I spent days reading and meditating and praying in tongues, and I could not find timing anywhere, so continued to bug Him about it. Finally, perhaps two more weeks, and He said, “it also shows the movement of time.” Again I studied, read, meditated, prayed in the spirit, and again I could not find any “movement” of time! (At this point in time, today, I cannot remember if these were audible words, or if this was the still small voice; all I can say is I very clearly heard God speak these words to me.) I kept bugging God about this, telling Him I could not find timing or the movement of time anywhere. Finally, God had great mercy on my slowness, and spoke to me: “Son, I will ask you three questions about this passage of scripture. Until you can answer these questions correctly, you will never understand this vision. 1. “Why did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father in chapter four? I ascended back into heaven years before John saw this vision. There are over a dozen verses showing that I went to be at the right hand of the Father. Why then did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father?” As before, when He spoke, I was “in the spirit” and could not answer by thinking of an answer and speaking. However, my spirit man answered, “I cannot answer that question.”
Again He spoke. 2. “John watched a search to find one worthy to open the seals-a search that ended in failure-and that is the reason John wept much: no man was found worthy. However, if you read ahead, you find that I was found worthy to break the seals. Why then was I not found in that first search?” Again my spirit man answered, “Lord, I cannot answer that.” Then He asked me the third question: 3. “If you notice in chapter 4, the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room. I told the disciples that as soon as I ascended, I would send Him down. Why was the Holy Spirit still in the throne room in chapter 4?” Again my spirit man said that he could not answer this question. The Lord did not say more at that time. I studied diligently on that vision of the throne room, trying to answer His questions. I could not see any timing. I could not see the movement of time. I could not figure out why Jesus was not at the right hand of the Father. I could not figure out why “no man was found.” I could not figure out why the Holy Spirit was still there. I spent weeks looking and asking God for help. Finally after three or four more weeks of study, I heard His voice again. He said, “go and study chapter 12.” When I turned to chapter 12, He spoke and gave me a synopsis of that chapter. “This chapter was Me introducing John to the dragon, and in particular, what the dragon would be doing during the last half of the week; but I also chose to show John what the dragon did when I was born. The first five verses were a ‘history lesson’ for John. Count how many times the dragon is mentioned, including pronouns.” I counted 32 times. I could see that chapter 12 was certainly about the dragon! Then He said, “you can go back and study chapters 4 & 5 again.” I would guess this interlude on chapter 12 was less than one hour. At first I could not understand why He sent me there. But now I know: it was to get “history lesson” into my brain! You see, the first five verses of chapter 12 was Jesus showing John what the dragon did to attempt to destroy Him when He was born. These events were before John was born, so was certainly a “history lesson” for him! I turned back to begin meditating again on chapters 4 & 5, but suddenly it was different than before! It one instant of time, I could answer all three of His questions! To this day I am not sure that was a “download” or if just having “history lesson” in my mind made the difference. I immediately knew that this was a vision of the past, or another “history lesson” for John: he was seeing into the throne room of the past, before Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus was not seen at the right hand of the Father, because He was still on earth. “no man was found” worthy to break the seals, because Jesus had not yet risen from the dead to become the redeemer worthy to break the seals. And the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room, because Jesus had not yet ascended to send Him down. Then, in chapter 5, we see the movement of time; another search was started as soon as the first one ended in failure. But in this second search, someone was found! Time was moving, and at this time, Jesus had risen from the dead, and was immediately found worthy. So John got to see, in this vision, the very moment Jesus ascended into the throne room, after telling Mary not to hold onto Him for He had not yet ascended. Then we see, the moment Jesus arrived in the throne room, the Holy Spirit was sent down. This then, Jesus ascension, sets the CONTEXT and timing of the first seal. One cannot find 2000 years between these verses!
Great teaching! This revelation series has really encouraged me to live more holy before the Lord! Dalton - I have a question for you. You mention something about 6000 years of creation in passing. Could you elaborate on this?
Regarding the kingdom, what about when Jesus teaches us to pray in Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, aren't we to pray that His kingdom is evidenced on earth now, as it is in heaven?
When Jesus teaches parables in the gospel of Matthew, He talks about the kingdom but, when i read it, it is true to the church. Is it possible it applies to both? I'm thinking of the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, the Mustard Seed and the Leaven in chapter 13. To me, these are warnings of what it will be like for us in the Church age. Am i wrong or could it apply to both the church and His coming kingdom?
I have one question about the millennium and that is this ; what if I don't have a desire to rule and reign? I don't mean to be indifferent, but I just don't feel the zeal... I'd love for someone to comment on this issue, and fill me in if I miss some perspectives....
Kristin, perhaps you are looking at what you understand at this time, skills or Earthly desires you have as a person on Earth. You have no idea about the knowledge that God will give you when in Heaven. Our minds, I’m sure, will be blown when we encounter God and Heaven.
Not everyone will Rule an Reign with Jesus Christ for a Thousand Year's, there are different roles each person does, some will be priest's some will Rule an Reign with him, others will have other Jobs, perfect for each person ! The Lord Jesus Christ knows what is best for US ! God Bless You
Dalton cant help but bring you back to the passage you so quickly dismissed from 2 peter,3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Sounds like a bit more than a baptismal fire to me . I don't claim to be an expert or wish to digress because i know he is coming back and whether we reign on a reconditioned or a new heavens and earth i know Hes coming back.Great series im enjoying it

Chapter 4 and 5 over two vids was a great deal of poetic commentary but not so much explanation of key articles. For eg... I still don't know WHO THE 24 ELDERS are. Was that discussed somewhere else? I think a lot of people misinterpret the fact that we will reign with Christ on Earth for saying that we should be reigning right now. I've seen and I think this ends up corrupting people

@Scott Cannon there are only two resurrections. What you described would suggest three resurrections. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prisonThen I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The commonly taught picture of "the Church" leaving the earth just as trouble starts... and, dying and going to heaven are both non- Biblical hinderences to spiritual growth. Only some shall rule 10 cities. Others shall barely be saved with little or no reward. Here's another one: "Are all the Bride of Christ?" Did you know that this commonly taught expression does not appear in the Bible? In Revelation the "Bride" is a city... New Jerusalem! Interesting...
You should not have put the queen's (and others) photos on the ground and poured liquid on them - as if you and the others with you have the right to judge those people. The Queen is one of the few examples we have of what it means to be a Christian and follower of Jesus throughout one's life and you put her photo on the ground and desecrate it. Why? Because she can't save us. Well, neither can you. And for that reason, why wasn't your photo on the ground also?
Great teaching but I believe that the kingdom teaching is a bit off. I see the kingdom as being announced by Jesus. The kingdom has been announced and the church models the kingdom like an embassy until the kingdom comes in its fullness when Jesus returns and establishes His government. Also find Dalton a bit hash and dismissive about some things the church is doing like prayer. I totally see the point and believe it must be said but believe it point could be more effective by being less critical on what is being done. Prayer is at an all time low in the west so let's not belittle those who are praying but teach the church how to pray more biblically.

Sorry - the covenant was made with Israel and the Jews of Old Testameng times. Therefore , Jesus Christ will reign for a thousand years from Jerusalem with the Old Testament time Jewish believers who will be resurrected to life [ Ezekiel 38:1-14] . Shalom
Think through - the number of believers from the time of Adam till the establishment of the millenium reign of Christ will be over tens of billions; how can anyone interpret that tens of billions will reign over themselves plus the living believer survivors after the plagues, great tribulation - i.e. maybe 500 million. The reality is that only the Old Testament time Jewish believers will reign with Christ from Jerusalem. The covenant was made with them. As far as Gentile believers and New Testament time Jewish believers are concerned, they will all be redeemed (resurrected to life) at the end of the millenium on the New Earth after this first earth passes away - Revelation 21:1-2. Further, it's clear from 1 Corinthians 15:28 > And when all things shall be subdued unto Him (Jesus), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto HIM (the Father) that put all things under Him (Jesus), that God may be all in all. Thus, the Father will dwell with all Believers on the New Earth and there will be nothing [no more sea or dome firmament] separating Heaven from the New Earth.
Yes there is a thousand year rain and all that pertains to that but even right now on Earth before the thousand Year rain takes place even at the time that Jesus was here the kingdom in a different sense was also here not the same as Jesus reigning on Earth personally but in a different sense Jesus was speaking of the fact that his kingdom was here.
Jesus will reign with his saints on earth for 1,000 years beginning with the day of his arrival for the second coming but from the time of Jesus or even maybe before that the kingdom was on Earth through his saints through their work through the work of Christ through the work of the holy Spirit through all the activities through the whole family of God that was still alive on Earth that was the kingdom of God on Earth and then in Jesus bringing that more to Fuller effect and then through the holy Spirit after that after Jesus went back to heaven so there's a difference between the two and when Jesus is here on Earth reigning and all of it comes together and then it is completely finalized at the end after the great judgment Day when there's is no more evil on earth.
Yes. The Kingdom is here on earth. We who are saved are citizens with the saints and of the household of God. But for now we are like the Jews who maintained their identity as a people even though they had no country of their own for 2000 years. For all that time they lived scattered on the earth under the reign and rule of whatever country they lived in. In like manner, Christians are scattered over the earth living under the authority of whatever country we live in, but this is not our home. We are a distinct kingdom of people without country or king. But hold on.... because as Dalton said - our King is coming, and the WHOLE earth will be his and we will reign with him on a restored earth for 1000 years. MARANATHA!

I was really hoping for a better explanation on the use of the word “damn” in this song. I don’t see how extreme emotion excuses coarse language or cursing. Ephesians 5 says that this type of language is not fitting for believers. I love love love this album but that song is definitely a stain due to the choice of using a curse word. I can’t share the album with many people because of this. Very sad.
But what about John the baptiser calling people brood of vipers? or Jesus calling Herod a fox? This not to justify foul language but the word damn isnt a curse. at least i dont view it as such. it means to be condemned.
Yeah I was hoping he was using “damn” in a Biblical way, was really hoping for an explanation that made sense. For instance in other songs using words like “whore” didn’t bother me since it was used in a Biblical way that it describes Babylon. This use of “not worth a damn” just seems like the way the world curses and does not add to the meaning of the song in any way. Very disappointing.

Yes, for even Biblically to be "damned" is certainly not a blessing, but it's most definitely a curse upon a person. Secondly, is Dalton "cursing" in the context of the song? Well, some may flinch at the use of the word in ANY context, but that's spiritual immaturity since they have no problem with the Bible's use of the word "ass" when referring to a donkey... but the word "ass" IS in the older versions (which the very same people that flinch, consider those versions "more holy and sacred" than the New King James Version... but I digress) ~ No, Dalton's not "cursing" or "swearing" with corrupt speech... Think about it= ARE those (so called) heroes "worth a damn", or shall we say "worth our being condemned"? Christ Jesus is worth EVERYTHING in our being, yet while many reject Him they will stand firmly alongside and in favor of these "heroes" who are but mere mortal men, equally in need of salvation from their own broken, weak, and sinful state... But hordes of people uphold these celebrities and politicians as if THEY are immortal and even "gods"... They aren't worth the condemnation that will come to those who worship them as if they are gods... Sadly, people look to Presidents, Premiers, the Kings and Rulers of men to "save them" from their economic situations and "solve all [of our] problems"... People look to them for hope, but they cannot deliver... There is only One who can save, and He did it by bearing our damnation, our condemnation, upon Himself.... Our Hero counted the cost and was willing to pay the ransom OF the damned, so that we might be found justified by faith in His work of righteousness on our behalf... But those other "heroes"? They aren't worth a damn, period.
Love your messages ... BUT on the earth burning up issue ... My take on this is ... A post Trib rapture/meeting in the air over Israel (with the coming from Sinai events which you describe), culminating with day one one on earth of the 1000 year reign of Christ with the 1st resurrected saints and the the living survivor saints (not transformed), who restore things on earth. There will be saved and unsaved living and dying THEN Christ returns to Heaven with the 1st and (2nd) resurrected saintswhile Satan is released. By this time there should be about 700 plus billion people on earth. Then 500 or 5000 years pass the the final end comes. Then the earth is burned up and an entirely new earth is made with a merging of Heaven and earth and a new Jerusalem ... After the Great white throne judgement. Some passages in the Bible skip the Great Tribulation period and go right to the end. This is why people get confused.
@hank8613 ~ Keep in mind that these "studies" are not intended to be an exhaustive, verse by verse breakdown of every single passage in each chapter... There is a/are main point(s) that are being looked at and focused upon... All too often, when an overwhelming amount of passages are being "studied"/ preached in a traditional sermon context, it's too much to feed on.... Compare it to piling too much food on your plate at a smorgasbord = there's no way you can take ALL of that food in and digest it in a healthy manner... Better to EAT WHAT YOU NEED (I'm not yelling, but wish there was an italics/underline function here) and chew on it for a while... So, with these "studies" there is a main point (or points) that are being focused on and to be prayerfully pondered over in the text #Maranatha

That’s why the King of the Kingdom told us to pray for His Kingdom to come and will to be done ON EARTH as it currently is in Heaven.

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, *** WRITE IN A BOOK ***, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
John was told by God that what he sees to *WRITE IN A BOOK*, and send it to the seven churches. He wasn’t told to only send what we know as chapters 2 & 3 in “letters” to the seven churches in Asia Minor. He was told what he SEES… THAT IS EVERYTHING! ALL OF REVELATION, CHAPTERS 1-22.
I find this a perfectly orchestrated maneuver of the enemy to keep God’s people in the dark by stopping after chapter three, as though the rest of Revelation is not for them just because the word, “church” is not written, so they say, in the rest of Revelation. BUT IT IS!

Many people understand some of the fine points of chapters 4 & 5, but totally miss the intended meaning. What message was God giving to John in these two chapters?
I began to meditate on chapters 4 & 5. Finally I got stuck in John weeping much, and I could not get away from that. I began to bug God about that, asking Him why we needed to know why John wept, and why it was “much.” Finally God spoke and said, “it shows timing.” Again I spent days reading and meditating and praying in tongues, and I could not find timing anywhere, so continued to bug Him about it. Finally, perhaps two more weeks, and He said, “it also shows the movement of time.” Again I studied, read, meditated, prayed in the spirit, and again I could not find any “movement” of time! (At this point in time, today, I cannot remember if these were audible words, or if this was the still small voice; all I can say is I very clearly heard God speak these words to me.)
I kept bugging God about this, telling Him I could not find timing or the movement of time anywhere. Finally, God had great mercy on my slowness, and spoke to me:
“Son, I will ask you three questions about this passage of scripture. Until you can answer these questions correctly, you will never understand this vision.
1. “Why did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father in chapter four? I ascended back into heaven years before John saw this vision. There are over a dozen verses showing that I went to be at the right hand of the Father. Why then did John not immediately see Me at the right hand of the Father?”
As before, when He spoke, I was “in the spirit” and could not answer by thinking of an answer and speaking. However, my spirit man answered, “I cannot answer that question.”
Again He spoke.
2. “John watched a search to find one worthy to open the seals-a search that ended in failure-and that is the reason John wept much: no man was found worthy. However, if you read ahead, you find that I was found worthy to break the seals. Why then was I not found in that first search?”
Again my spirit man answered, “Lord, I cannot answer that.” Then He asked me the third question:
3. “If you notice in chapter 4, the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room. I told the disciples that as soon as I ascended, I would send Him down. Why was the Holy Spirit still in the throne room in chapter 4?”
Again my spirit man said that he could not answer this question. The Lord did not say more at that time. I studied diligently on that vision of the throne room, trying to answer His questions. I could not see any timing. I could not see the movement of time. I could not figure out why Jesus was not at the right hand of the Father. I could not figure out why “no man was found.” I could not figure out why the Holy Spirit was still there. I spent weeks looking and asking God for help.
Finally after three or four more weeks of study, I heard His voice again. He said, “go and study chapter 12.”
When I turned to chapter 12, He spoke and gave me a synopsis of that chapter.
“This chapter was Me introducing John to the dragon, and in particular, what the dragon would be doing during the last half of the week; but I also chose to show John what the dragon did when I was born. The first five verses were a ‘history lesson’ for John. Count how many times the dragon is mentioned, including pronouns.”
I counted 32 times. I could see that chapter 12 was certainly about the dragon! Then He said, “you can go back and study chapters 4 & 5 again.” I would guess this interlude on chapter 12 was less than one hour. At first I could not understand why He sent me there. But now I know: it was to get “history lesson” into my brain! You see, the first five verses of chapter 12 was Jesus showing John what the dragon did to attempt to destroy Him when He was born. These events were before John was born, so was certainly a “history lesson” for him!
I turned back to begin meditating again on chapters 4 & 5, but suddenly it was different than before! It one instant of time, I could answer all three of His questions! To this day I am not sure that was a “download” or if just having “history lesson” in my mind made the difference. I immediately knew that this was a vision of the past, or another “history lesson” for John: he was seeing into the throne room of the past, before Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus was not seen at the right hand of the Father, because He was still on earth. “no man was found” worthy to break the seals, because Jesus had not yet risen from the dead to become the redeemer worthy to break the seals. And the Holy Spirit was still in the throne room, because Jesus had not yet ascended to send Him down.
Then, in chapter 5, we see the movement of time; another search was started as soon as the first one ended in failure. But in this second search, someone was found! Time was moving, and at this time, Jesus had risen from the dead, and was immediately found worthy. So John got to see, in this vision, the very moment Jesus ascended into the throne room, after telling Mary not to hold onto Him for He had not yet ascended. Then we see, the moment Jesus arrived in the throne room, the Holy Spirit was sent down. This then, Jesus ascension, sets the CONTEXT and timing of the first seal. One cannot find 2000 years between these verses!

Dalton - I have a question for you.
You mention something about 6000 years of creation in passing. Could you elaborate on this?
Regarding the kingdom, what about when Jesus teaches us to pray in Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, aren't we to pray that His kingdom is evidenced on earth now, as it is in heaven?
But that reign is for 1000 years, what happens after that? Isn't that when God destroys the earth and creates a new kingdom?
When Jesus teaches parables in the gospel of Matthew, He talks about the kingdom but, when i read it, it is true to the church. Is it possible it applies to both? I'm thinking of the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, the Mustard Seed and the Leaven in chapter 13. To me, these are warnings of what it will be like for us in the Church age. Am i wrong or could it apply to both the church and His coming kingdom?
The Kingdom is not like some NFT. Its a real tangible thing.

Kristin, perhaps you are looking at what you understand at this time, skills or Earthly desires you have as a person on Earth. You have no idea about the knowledge that God will give you when in Heaven. Our minds, I’m sure, will be blown when we encounter God and Heaven.
Not everyone will Rule an Reign with Jesus Christ for a Thousand Year's, there are different roles each person does, some will be priest's some will Rule an Reign with him, others will have other Jobs, perfect for each person ! The Lord Jesus Christ knows what is best for US ! God Bless You

The commonly taught picture of "the Church" leaving the earth just as trouble starts... and, dying and going to heaven are both non- Biblical hinderences to spiritual growth. Only some shall rule 10 cities. Others shall barely be saved with little or no reward. Here's another one: "Are all the Bride of Christ?" Did you know that this commonly taught expression does not appear in the Bible? In Revelation the "Bride" is a city... New Jerusalem! Interesting...
You should not have put the queen's (and others) photos on the ground and poured liquid on them - as if you and the others with you have the right to judge those people. The Queen is one of the few examples we have of what it means to be a Christian and follower of Jesus throughout one's life and you put her photo on the ground and desecrate it. Why? Because she can't save us. Well, neither can you. And for that reason, why wasn't your photo on the ground also?

Great teaching but I believe that the kingdom teaching is a bit off. I see the kingdom as being announced by Jesus. The kingdom has been announced and the church models the kingdom like an embassy until the kingdom comes in its fullness when Jesus returns and establishes His government. Also find Dalton a bit hash and dismissive about some things the church is doing like prayer. I totally see the point and believe it must be said but believe it point could be more effective by being less critical on what is being done. Prayer is at an all time low in the west so let's not belittle those who are praying but teach the church how to pray more biblically.

Sorry - the covenant was made with Israel and the Jews of Old Testameng times. Therefore , Jesus Christ will reign for a thousand years from Jerusalem with the Old Testament time Jewish believers who will be resurrected to life [ Ezekiel 38:1-14] . Shalom
Think through - the number of believers from the time of Adam till the establishment of the millenium reign of Christ will be over tens of billions; how can anyone interpret that tens of billions will reign over themselves plus the living believer survivors after the plagues, great tribulation - i.e. maybe 500 million.
The reality is that only the Old Testament time Jewish believers will reign with Christ from Jerusalem. The covenant was made with them.
As far as Gentile believers and New Testament time Jewish believers are concerned, they will all be redeemed (resurrected to life) at the end of the millenium on the New Earth after this first earth passes away - Revelation 21:1-2.
Further, it's clear from 1 Corinthians 15:28 >
And when all things shall be subdued unto Him (Jesus), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto HIM (the Father) that put all things under Him (Jesus), that God may be all in all.
Thus, the Father will dwell with all Believers on the New Earth and there will be nothing [no more sea or dome firmament] separating Heaven from the New Earth.
Yes there is a thousand year rain and all that pertains to that but even right now on Earth before the thousand Year rain takes place even at the time that Jesus was here the kingdom in a different sense was also here not the same as Jesus reigning on Earth personally but in a different sense Jesus was speaking of the fact that his kingdom was here.
Jesus will reign with his saints on earth for 1,000 years beginning with the day of his arrival for the second coming but from the time of Jesus or even maybe before that the kingdom was on Earth through his saints through their work through the work of Christ through the work of the holy Spirit through all the activities through the whole family of God that was still alive on Earth that was the kingdom of God on Earth and then in Jesus bringing that more to Fuller effect and then through the holy Spirit after that after Jesus went back to heaven so there's a difference between the two and when Jesus is here on Earth reigning and all of it comes together and then it is completely finalized at the end after the great judgment Day when there's is no more evil on earth.
Yes. The Kingdom is here on earth. We who are saved are citizens with the saints and of the household of God. But for now we are like the Jews who maintained their identity as a people even though they had no country of their own for 2000 years. For all that time they lived scattered on the earth under the reign and rule of whatever country they lived in.
In like manner, Christians are scattered over the earth living under the authority of whatever country we live in, but this is not our home. We are a distinct kingdom of people without country or king.
But hold on.... because as Dalton said - our King is coming, and the WHOLE earth will be his and we will reign with him on a restored earth for 1000 years. MARANATHA!

So disappointed this morning, first i see the news of Dalton resigning from FAI due to sexual infidelity and having a history of this and now outright cursing and excusing it, how sad
I was really hoping for a better explanation on the use of the word “damn” in this song. I don’t see how extreme emotion excuses coarse language or cursing. Ephesians 5 says that this type of language is not fitting for believers. I love love love this album but that song is definitely a stain due to the choice of using a curse word. I can’t share the album with many people because of this. Very sad.
But what about John the baptiser calling people brood of vipers? or Jesus calling Herod a fox? This not to justify foul language but the word damn isnt a curse. at least i dont view it as such. it means to be condemned.

Yeah I was hoping he was using “damn” in a Biblical way, was really hoping for an explanation that made sense. For instance in other songs using words like “whore” didn’t bother me since it was used in a Biblical way that it describes Babylon. This use of “not worth a damn” just seems like the way the world curses and does not add to the meaning of the song in any way. Very disappointing.

Christ Jesus is worth EVERYTHING in our being, yet while many reject Him they will stand firmly alongside and in favor of these "heroes" who are but mere mortal men, equally in need of salvation from their own broken, weak, and sinful state... But hordes of people uphold these celebrities and politicians as if THEY are immortal and even "gods"... They aren't worth the condemnation that will come to those who worship them as if they are gods... Sadly, people look to Presidents, Premiers, the Kings and Rulers of men to "save them" from their economic situations and "solve all [of our] problems"... People look to them for hope, but they cannot deliver... There is only One who can save, and He did it by bearing our damnation, our condemnation, upon Himself.... Our Hero counted the cost and was willing to pay the ransom OF the damned, so that we might be found justified by faith in His work of righteousness on our behalf... But those other "heroes"? They aren't worth a damn, period.

A post Trib rapture/meeting in the air over Israel (with the coming from Sinai events which you describe), culminating with day one one on earth of the 1000 year reign of Christ with the 1st resurrected saints and the the living survivor saints (not transformed), who restore things on earth. @hank8613 ~ Keep in mind that these "studies" are not intended to be an exhaustive, verse by verse breakdown of every single passage in each chapter... There is a/are main point(s) that are being looked at and focused upon... All too often, when an overwhelming amount of passages are being "studied"/ preached in a traditional sermon context, it's too much to feed on.... Compare it to piling too much food on your plate at a smorgasbord = there's no way you can take ALL of that food in and digest it in a healthy manner... Better to EAT WHAT YOU NEED (I'm not yelling, but wish there was an italics/underline function here) and chew on it for a while... So, with these "studies" there is a main point (or points) that are being focused on and to be prayerfully pondered over in the text #Maranatha
