We lost another brother yesterday. Maj. Gen. William Anders, lunar module pilot and astronaut who captured Earthrise, died when he crashed his Beech A65 into the waters off Jones Island in Washington, at age 90. He died with the stick and throttle in his hands. RIP brother Anders. How perfect that the crew read Genesis 1 to the world from lunar orbit.
WE HEARD THE NASA NEWS THIS EVENING, RIP USA & APOLLO-8 PROGRAM HERO FRANK BORMAN WHO PASSED AWAY TODAY. THE APOLLO-8 MISSION WAS A UNIQUE FIRST - HUMANS WILL BE TALKING ABOUT IT 10,000-YEARS FROM NOW!!
Do you really believe humans will be around that long - 10K years? They are so determined to kill themselves off even now. They had it all and threw it all away i.e. the epitaph of mankind.
Man...imagine if what happened on apollo 13 happened on the apollo 8 they would not have had the lunar module life boat to make it home its scary to think about !
And they did consider the fact that there would be no 'LEM' lifeboat on this mission beforehand. Apollo 8 was a huge gamble needed to be taken if the race with the Russians to the moon and the end of the decade landing was to be achieved. Failure would have cost the Apollo program to be terminated. In 1968, the country held its breath.
Anders told his wife he thought they had a 1/3 chance of everything going ok, 1/3 chance of survivable failure and 1/3 chance they wouldn't make it back.
The effort it takes to fake doing something takes the same effort of doing something and the paper work or data would still choke systems either way,why not do it
To everyone who thinks it was possible for three men to sit in a capsule for eleven days and have their bodily functions to deal with proves you don't know sheet about sheet and have never even thought about it. Why would you. NASA, when asked, showed us a plastic bag that was to contain their waste. Can you imagine taking a dump in zero g? Next to two other men? I can tell you it's impossible to contain the smell with one plastic bag. Not even with three bags and a sealable five gal bucket can you contain that smell. I know from a disagreeable experience I had after abominable surgery. You who are clueless have never considered how much waste three men would produce either wastes that would have to be stored until they got back. They couldn't open a hatch and toss it. Surprise surprise you would need a 55 gal drum for three men for eleven days. NASA never showed us where that much space was in any of their diagrams of the capsules or landers and never will. If you still believe NASA why don't you try a simple experiment.... Crap in a plastic bag in a bucket and rebag it and leave it in your closet. Use three bags to contain it if you want. Use your closet everyday until you are satisfied no one could stay in there with it. It will take less than a week to convince you that it is impossible because of the smell. Consider staying in there with two other adults for eleven days. Now think about the space station and the same difficulties. You never see them take a crap or transfer the wastes to anyplace else. Why not?
Wow - that's an insightful bit of poop - er, proof. There are thousands of scientists and engineers currently working in the aerospace industry, in various countries/agencies/companies, on _modern_ Moon missions. To varying degrees, they base important aspects of their work on the accomplishments of Apollo. They've been operating for years under the assumption that it was all real - and have been making important technical decisions based on that. Despite decades of intense study of the workings of Apollo, they appear to have somehow missed clear indications, such as the one you've pointed out about the astronauts' poop, that it was all fake. I would suggest getting in contact with at least some of them to get the word out. Intuitive Machines, Advanced Space, Astrobotic, Northrup-Grumman, Venturi Astrolab all spring to mind; as well as space agencies in other countries (for example India; they have a robotic lander on the lunar surface now and are working towards crewed missions). There are also companies designing next gen lunar terrain vehicles (there's a competition for the Artemis missions; winners will be announced in March, 2024). Those people are also basing aspects of their work on the accomplishments of Apollo, specifically the three rovers on Apollos 15-17, which were also unfortunately fake. The professors teaching orbital mechanics at Purdue and UC Boulder should also be alerted, since it's clear that they too have been wasting their time (their work also draws on the achievements of the Apollo program). Contact information will be easy to procure for all of those agencies and institutions. You're definitely going to be doing those folks a big favor, so best get on it right away. Please be sure and post here again to let us know how it went!

Earth - wonderfully made.
8:21 No, not really. 850 miles is about 1/5 of an Earth radius. Much more than skimming the surface.
Yeah, that was a very misleading and sloppy-minded analogy.
Yeah, I mean with Earth that size the Moon would still be like twenty feet away, but 850 miles was still nothing to sneeze at
i can't imagine 👍
Pq a terra é tao minuscula da lua , sendo q a lua e peque a e daqui ela parece grande , e a terra é enorme e fica tao pequena de la
