I love Sphero. The tech is great. It is quite difficult to get the gyro sphere to be well-balanced. They obviously have that problem figured out.

So... I have one, and it may be broken, though I have not damaged it myself. When I drive it for a little bit, it just starts spinning and throws the sphero off and I have to ‘recalculate’ it. Is there something wrong with my sphero mini?

Do you need a sphero mini to do most of these things, or will my sphero BB-8 do most of them (like the flick game and the coding)

1. I own a a Sphero SPRK+, and I'm looking into buying a Sphero mini. I'm curious, are there any new features that mini can do that SPRK+ can't?
2. Does the face control thing support SPRK+?
+H.F Gaming That is a great question! Sphero Mini utilizes the Sphero Mini app to bring the fun! Play and interact with Sphero Mini using any of the 5 main in-app modes. Which the SPRK+ does not have. For instance, Sphero Mini can be driven using any of our four main drive modes: Face Drive, Tilt, Slingshot, and the standard Joystick. Sphero Mini can also be the controller on your quest for high scores in any of our three arcade games: Round Trip, Lightspeed Drifter, and Exile II. Does the Sphero mini have more or less features than the original? I'm thinking about getting one to tag along with my other Sphero :)
Hello! The Sphero Mini has it's own Sphero Mini app and is also compatible with the Sphero Edu app. In the Sphero Mini app, you do have a few games and few different ways you can drive your Sphero Mini. I do think that it does have more features than the Sphero 2.0.

Hey Sphero I have one question thats really holding me back from buying the Sphero Mini. and I wanna know if the Sphero Mini is as durable as the Sphero 2.0 I get paranoid alot with breaking things...lol (edit) also is the Sphero Mini as fast as the Sphero 2.0

+vang_92 Hey there. As long as you program it to jump, just as you would the Sphero, then yes, Mini would show the same programming skills that the others would. :) You can find sample programs with the Jump function in the Community.
