I know this hotel. That weird room is thanks to a different brand having taken over that hotel and changing out all the beds/furniture. If you ever find yourself bored in Charlotte, HMU. CLT is home. Travel safe and have an amazing August!

I’m sad you haven’t had a good experiences in SYR! I’m from there and we live in the VPS area due to military. So much to do in the city! We fly AA soon and always fly delta and I’m nevous, flying through Charlotte! And with a 2 year old!
Charlotte is growing. One of the fastest growing cities in the u.s.. Been living in Charlotte/Lake Norman since 1980. AA hub is here. Few pilots live here. You're safe...safer than the northeast.

I didn’t finish my comment went to subtract began and say started. I even took flying lessons from that airport too. It’s changed a lot since then as it had a major renovation last year I think. I don’t live there anymore but it’s still where my interest working for the airlines also started. Still working at getting a job and who knows if I’ll do well next week when I go for my final interview. Hoping I don’t blow it as I’m really nervous. I have a huge SMH..I was a FA for 13 years with UAL. I had to share a 2 bedroom apt (in Chicago) with 4 girls. worked a 2nd job, packed my own food and no money for excursions. I traveled the world but lived like a peon while on layovers. I never used credit cards and the girls I worked with who were able to explore and do fun things had debt up to their eyeballs. Do you have the same?
usrafieckx9 what do you mean? On layovers hotels are covered by the company you work for. But in your regular life you have to pay your own rent or mortgage unless you work for a carrier like emirates.
