- When an unexpected delay interrupts the market day's return train, the passengers take it upon themselves to make their own way home.
This is by far my favourite story I've ever written, and I'm glad to finally have it out, well over a year since it was originally conceived. I hope you all enjoy it!
As per, thank you to all my wonderful friends, subscribers and followers who keep me going with projects like these. My brilliant cast is also to thank in terms of bringing this charming little tale to life at last.
Can we just appreciate Rusty's adorable verbalised 'Honk honk'?
Either way, great to see such a fun concept applied here, especially with the passengers taking the spotlight.
Thank you!
It's a rare thing whenever the human side of Sodor is given the spotlight (especially those that aren't The Fat Controller), and even fewer can make it as endearing as a typical engine's story. Highly impressive in both writing and visuals, it's delightful the whole way through
Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it :)
This music at the beginning feels very relaxing. Also wow, seeing old methods of railroading being used in the more modern times of railroading. Cool.
Thank you! Very much inspired by old escapades on the Talyllyn and the Ffestiniog's different uses of gravity..!
The Mr. Men music! Ugh that took me back, this whole video has a lovely feeling that’s so fitting to the Skarloey Railway
Thank you so much! Had to throw in some nostalgic tunes in there too!
This was filled with Classic & Nostalgic Elements and I absolutely loved it
Thank you! I’m glad you did
ITS HIM, THEREDENGINE!
This is what you call a proper fan episode, cause it keeps it within the shows reality and possibilities, yet stepped out of whats been done before! I enjoy the story of the passengers taking the main role and the engines kind of taking a stepback, instead of being damsels and staying stuck at the station, they make their own way! I love the music choice not just being music from the show, and instead incorporating other kinds of music! A true 10/10 episode and i cant fault the story one bit! Keep it up i would love to see more!
Cheers man, I'm really glad you liked it. And yeah? I wanted to pick a wider selection to fit something that wasn't a story about the engines (music wise).
That was lovely! glad you did that collaboration on the stories about Stanley, or I'd probably never have found your lovely little channel. I've nearly finished watching all your stories, and I look foreword to more in future.
Loved the used of tv themes
Such a lovely story James, It's been a treat to see this go from production to the final thing. Very sweet and characterful as always!
Thank you!
This is a very quaint, yet impressive story. Your shots with the narration, and the calming/fitting music give it a very nice feel. The sets are also very nice. Almost feels like an old Tardisrescue model story!
You've done a stellar job. Easily gained a new sub. I'm surprised I haven't yet :0
Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)
"Honk honk" (4:02)
I don't know how I just saw this, but I loved it! It's wonderful seeing this come to life, not often we see passengers taking the lead role. And in style too! We definitely need more creativity like this, and model videos too! Thanks a ton for letting me be a part!
I’m glad you were a part of it man, thanks!
come on and slam and welcome to the jamtram
This is an amazing story James! Well done! :D
Cheers!
A very good episode here Jamster! Really liked the character interactions and using underdeveloped characters like Mrs Last to use them in the story. Your sets really capture the SKR very nicely too and the music choice was great. Top marks to the VAs who did a splendid job!
Thanks Jamie, and yes, the cast for this one really were spot on!
Nice little story.
Thanks!
An outstanding job! The sets a really nice, I like the fact you’ve got items in the background to make it look much more real. The story was really enjoyable, I like that you’ve used the gravity train in your story.
Thank you! I feel like it’s an important part of narrow gauge history, and ought to be more represented in stories
@@TheJamTram I agree, involve the real railway world and workings in to story's.
I'm sure it's made a few people look up to see if a gravity train is real too.
I absolutely love how you used Ivor the engine music in a story about the Skarloey railway, simply fantastic!
Thank you! Honestly, Brighton Terrier suggested it to me, and I couldn't resist -
@@TheJamTram congrats to the both of you then :)
He also used Postman Pat music throughout. It works fabulously with the Skarloey Railway setting
Tardisrescue son is that you?
sorry if that is a bit too high praised but the scenes and the music sounds so familiare the legend himself Tardisresuce.
This was very good executed!!
PS. at 4:03 it gave me very good chuckle.
Thank you
The gravity train
did the thin controller fine the passengers for taking the slate wagons down the line and for tresspassing? I don't think the rights of carriage cover Gravity trains
I recon he probably let it slide - this once!
@@TheJamTram I thought that this amazing story was a great way to start the new year off. but i feel its somthing different to what they now do in the actual tv series
@@eliotreader8220 Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of what has come in the past few years, nor what is to come - and I want my content to reflect that.
@@TheJamTram the lady passenger who complains about her train being held up reminds me of a similar situation that me and my dad experinced during our train trip on the Ffestininog railway back 2017
2:32 anyone know the soundtrack? Thanks.
Hey, great video but I just wanted to ask if I could use some of this footage for a 75th-anniversary special I'm planning on making. I'll be sure to credit you. Thanks, it would mean a lot!
is your rusty model a simple repainted bachmann model??
it’s the 2A rail shapeways print actually!
@@TheJamTram on the bachmann chassis??

2:32 anyone know the soundtrack? Thanks.
