Maleeha, Wajdan, and Huda, all of them suffer differently. But if someone asks me who is the lucky one among them, I will say Maleeha Farooqi. Yes, she's the one. Wajdan's love made her do all those things that she didn't even think of doing. She loved him so desperately that she died because of grief. She was the chosen one by Allah, her test was so short and Allah made it easy for her compared to Wajdan. It's a simple story, nothing new. But the way the writer expressed emotions on every page we couldn't resist crying. Also in the last scene, before his death he saw Maleeha again, I'll take it as a reward for Wajdan from Allah. He could commit suicide or anything else, but he suffered and waited for Qayamat. After all, he promised that he could wait for her till Qayamat and he kept it.
(I wish that annoying Mariam would know the reality of Maleeha, I hated dada Jan at first, but slowly Mariam took his place. One and only irritating character in this novel).

GOD, I really hate Mariyam, not a single reason can make me like her. Saying always "itni shiddat se maine tumhe chaha" janan shiddat jab itni hoo to mehboob ki mehboob se bhi ishq ho jati hai. Such a jealous woman. Her love was a kind of obsession.
