@@LGSAE have LG made changes to back of machine? I have placed an order for this machine? Is there anything else i should know? Is there a step by step video showing installation and wifi set up?
Hi. I just purchased an LG 15kg/8kg inverter combination washer and dryer LG F2515HTPM. I have an issue with it. It releases a lot of hot steam on the detergent handle when drying clothes. The hot steam accumulates on the front under the handle to the upper left side of the door so water drips down. The button and the knob also gets steamed. It also made the door moist inside so I cant see the clothes when its drying the clothes. Can you pls help?
When they lift the washer, underneath you see a thin white styrofoam square. Svould this be removed or not? I read in the manual you should make sure to remove a styrofoam piece that goes in to the dryer underneath, but i could not find that. I do however have that thin styrofoam underneath that is glued in. I started removing it now (not easy alone) and saw this video where they didn't say to remove it. Should it stay in place, and in that case, what is the use for it?
Good question. No, it should not be removed. This Styrofoam that is attached to the base is meant to reduce vibrations and noise. Some packing constructions also have a base part that, for transportation stability, fits into the base plate. This is part of the packing so can be removed. However, the Styrofoam at 00:56 - 01:00 in the video should not be removed.
@@LGSAE This is unclear in the manual - I also nearly removed the styrofoam noise reduction, confusing it with the 'tub support' which my model must not require to be removed.
I got my wash machine at Lowe’s they laid it on its side. I didn’t notice till I got home there’s a sticker that says do not lay on its side. Will it be damaged?
Not necessarily. While the best way of transporting a washer is standing, as long as the transit bolts are in the appliance will be steady enough. Did you manage to run some cycles since writing this post?
Just bought an washer dryer combo. The sales rep told me that the drain hose need to be placed at a higher position before going into the drain pipe. Still figuring what she meant! Plse explain
There is a drop of water at the water supply tube next to the washer machine. The tube is well tightned, but when the washer takes water it leaks a drop of water. The washing machine is new and has the original water supply tube.
Is the tube locked straight, so not in a slight angle? that may cause water leakage. The water supply hose has a connector with a rubber ring inside, check if this is still present. Another cause may be a damaged swivel, perhaps due to too much tightening? Hope these tips help.
I bought a front load WM, can I just leave the drain pipe on the toilet floor? The height of zero (touching the floor) or around 1-1.5 feet from the floor?
what happens if i forgot to take off the transport bolts and let it wash on heavy load for an hour? i read the manual in the middle of the wash and turned it off and removed them before fast spinning happens. i ran the diagnostic and it says everything is fine
When using topload it's really necessary for the drain hose to be down the drain. For frontload is it really okay for the drain hose to drain in any ways?
Well the minimum height is not important, as long as the supplied hose is used and it is not extended in any way. The rinsing performance depends on many factors, such as the load, amount and type of detergent used, softener (yes/no), and washing temperature. Also the drain hose should not be blocked/obstructed in any way. Advise: keep filters clean and use tub clean every 30 cycles.
Can you please tell me how much fabric softener should be poured in the softener chembur? And how much water will come there? The technician said that I should pour the chembur to the max level always and only few drops of water will come there..is he right? But I don't think so because 1st of all those few drops can't take away softener fully, 2ndly we don't wash full load always so we should not use softener till maximum line always. Am I right? Note: My product model is FV1409S3W. It's not taking fabric softener and it's only 17days old.
Thanks for your questions and apologies about the late response. I would like to recommend this video: ua-cam.com/video/y6-YKG-TPyY/v-deo.html so do not go past the max line, less is always possible and up to you, indeed depending on the amount and type of laundry. Check the softener packing for correct dosing. The water is definitely more than a few drops, because it needs to 'flush' the softener out of the compartment at the end of the last rinse stage. After the cycle there may be a little water left, this is normal.

Hello, I've just bought less then one week ago a washer/drier code F4DV710H1E . Dear Ales, are the lock nuts properly tightened? If yes, try taking the leg adjustment wrench that is supplied with your machine and run a Spin cycle (do not select a wash program after turning on the machine, just select a spin speed) and when the spinning starts to increase and your machine is shaking, turn 1 of the front adjustment nuts (of the leg that shakes the most) clockwise.
