@@andrewjackson244 As someone who barely understands Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese, I love it. It makes the found footage vibe more realistic.
@@andrewjackson244 I think it's fantastic, it adds to the isolation and disorientation more. The other logic to it is they would probably have spoken majority Spanish anyways, unlike Outpost Fristed where the characters were in one spot to make repairs and English was a must as it would be long, this is different as it is a research expedition in a Spanish speaking country, it further adds to that level of isolation even more for those who are not fluent if at all. It is so much more intense subtly with that addition, like a creeping fever.

For some reason I’m not as attached to these characters as the last ones
It's a quicker pace than the first group. we haven't known them as long or heard the go through as much. we just don't know them as well as the first group.

The last group lasted (more or less) 20 episode but these guys only 10! (So far) there needed to be more alcohol and card games

I really hope this series continues once Covid 19 dies down some more. I definitely want to hear the in-between series.

OHHHHH NO im sorry i made comments before finishing the episode - they TOTALLY got ureta way early omg. simon!!!! this has spiraled so fast and hard, i no longer have any idea what’s going on lol. seasons 1 and 2 seem so simple in comparison… only thing to do is keep watching!!

Considering what I've hard about Cerro Torre, I doubt that a bunch of researchers who aren't top notch climbers could work on this mountain.

These characters are not as likeable as Kasner and friends. The Spanish accents are very sexy though (the women, that is).. Wtf? Mandarin? How did that get in there all the sudden?
Did you miss that one of the researchers was Chinese?
They found similar glyphs in China so one of the experts of the Chinese site went along on this expedition. At least Im pretty sure that was explained earlier in this season.
Too much Spanish......I don't have enough time to listen to it all and the English is poor. This season is annoying and slower paced, less exciting than the first
Yeah I'm giving up on it. Don't know why they ever thought this was a good direction to go.
There is certainly tons more Spanish than welcome for a supposedly English summary of the events, it takes too long to fade into English, and it sometimes doesn't even bother to, which is nothing short of irritating; But it also has to do with the voice talent. Simon has the best voice actor, he always sounds like he was actually going through what he's going through, more like Karina or Walter from Season 1. Guerrero sounds like she's always watching toddlers play and it's frankly frustrating, she doesn't hold a candle to Rosa. Liu is decent though; her slightly monotonous tone and attitude meshes with her culture imo. Definitely hoping for a more diverse and talented cast going forward, in this production company if not this series.
