I love gardening too, and am glad you attended one of traditional lobola. They are Swati people (Mostly found in Mpumalanga & Eswatini 🇸🇿) and Tsonga people (Mostly found in Limpopo & Mpumalanga)
I knew it you picked Seshoeshoe💙 lol you look real Tswana. Your name should be KARABO. It means RESPONSE/ANSWER, basically "God has finally answered/responded". And judging by your journey to South Africa its a perfect name. You should ask Gomo about the name. KARABO really sounds perfect on you💯
Great video. It's good that you get to experience our cultures. Most of us do not hire venues for our weddings. Our yards are big enough and we set up the reception in our yards. It's also a cultural thing that I must leave from my parents' house to my husband's house.
You looked the part Mr Jones👌👌. That is a Swati Traditional wedding and the bride is being married to the Tsonga culture/tradition represented by the ladies in pink attire.
Umgcagco is a Zulu wedding. Lobola is the first step which is dowry, 2nd Step is umembeso where gifts are exchange at the woman's home, 3rd step umbondo where the exchange of gifts is at the husband to bes home and finally the wedding which is umgcagco.
Glad you had the African wedding experience the different attires, warmth from the people and different food variety. The Bishop alone lost me a bit😂..Love and light fam..😊
@@THEJONESFAMILYCHANNEL Keep me in prayer, I’m working on it! You know I visited SA in May-June for the first time by myself. I had a wonderful time, God place the right people in my path. God willing, when I return, I’ll look y’all up! Y’all will be old schoolers by then…well seasoned!
Thoroughly enjoyed the vlog. I love how you are being exposed to the various cultures in SA. Next time, please do bring your wife and children so they can also be immersed in the culture.
A large number of people in the township and rural areas in SA own livestock and keep it in their yards. So whenever someone needs to buy a cow, goat etc they, buy it at an affordable price there. The livestock is usually let out to graze from early morning and fetched later in the afternoon and there’s always someone in the far end watching them, sometimes there’s no one, as people hardly steal it. Some people come through and buy the livestock while grazing on the side of the road as seen on the video or field. The plant with the green stalk sticking out, is a spring onion.
It's so nice seeing people from other countries enjoy our cultures, country. While we have our own who don't appreciate it. Thanks Jones fam.
Oh yea it’s a beautiful thing. Some times you can get too familiar with things
Thank you, Sir Sifiso, for inviting our quest to the beautiful traditional wedding.

Sifiso Khumalo is a good man, he'll take good care of you.
