    I think mowing is an OCD thing. Explains why I'm watching these in March. Happy mowing.

    You have no idea how nice it is to sit here and watch you more the grass. Why? you say. Cuz it's -17 right now and I kinda hate winter at the moment. Love snow...hate the cold. Thanks for sharing and warming me up. Lol! Take care.

    Wow! That was a marathon. I can't believe I sat through the whole thing. Looked like an easy mow., except for all the obstacles and that mini bog on the border line. I got my Something To Look At fix for a bit. Thanks for the video.

    Maybe if you can mount some kind of gimbal on your little camera arm (and then mount your camera to the gimbal), it might get rid of most or all of that jello effect (rolling shutter) from the bouncing camera. That's a tough place for the camera with all that shake and some type of gimbal might work out well there. Maybe. Just an idea :-)

  • @joepolen7212
    @joepolen7212 6 років тому

    Hi! Great video! I still like the camera angle. Looks like you mastered maneuvering the Cheeta with the camera mount. I was just wondering what the fenced in area in the backyard was. I cannot tell if it is a overgrown garden, sinkhole or pit. It is also nice to have those marker pipe /sticks set up so you can mow around them.

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  6 років тому

      It's a big garden that nature is taking over. Too tight in there to mow. The whole thing would be weed whacker, and still tricky.

      Something 2LookAt/ I'm new to your videos, I enjoyed this angle even with the little shaking and little nips of grass on the lens, it placed me right with you with a phenomenal 2nd eye view. Personally I don't like the the other camera taping when you set it up around the property and have to move it to certain locations, this can Also be vexating when concentrating on cutting the yard having to stop and set up, stop and set up. Bud this camera angle is Awesome!!!!

    Have you considered one of those 'wing mowers'? like the Exmark mower that features a 48 inch deck with 2 24 inch folding wings, giving you a 96 inch mower that doesn't scalp.

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  6 років тому

      Now that would be great fun! Yea, I would consider it for sure! Also be real nice if Exmark gave me one. :) My videos with it would sell a bunch of Exmarks. I know I've sold a lot of Cheetahs!

    I watch your videos all the time good work, but do you always cut that low? I own a 2017 xmark 60in I probably would have done a higher setting and possibly a double. And what do you do when you can’t get rid of all the grass in the lawn

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  3 роки тому +1

      I cut at the height that the customers ask for. On the low cutting height yards, I am not agreeing with them. I'm just doing it. And it is rare that I cannot get all the grass to lie down nice, but it those cases where it won't go away, I do leave it in a nice even layer on top of the grass. This is something you can only do in Florida. Composting happens so fast here that it will all disappear by the next time I cut.

    Thanks for the video, but the mowing technique needs some improvement. Too much wasted time driving over previously mowed areas or concrete, not to mention not mowing in straight lines, and mostly going around in circles instead of making one pass in each direction. After mowing the perimeter in one or two passes, then begin the back and forth pattern, North/South, East/West, or diagonally.

    First of all, this guy has his deck literally on the ground! Secondly, he is mowing in areas that a weed eater should be trimming! Third, he has no concept of how to stripe or mow a lawn nicely! Fourth, he beats the life out of the mower by cutting grass as tall as he does! Fifth, don’t watch this clown! He has no idea what he’s doing!
