Hey everyone, here is a track I composed in Logic Pro X. After hearing the music for Zelda: Breath of the Wild reveal trailer, I decided to create my own interpretation of the music. I bet many of you were wondering what the select screen would sound like in this format, well here it is! Enjoy!
Software and libraries used: 8Dio Steinway Piano, Spitfire Percussion, Spitfire Albion V, Spitfire Chamber Strings
This should be played on the title screen of the game instead of, you know, silence...

The thing about the select screen in BotW, despite Nintendo's tradition of having the infamous Fairy Fountain music, for this Zelda title, due to the game being more or less, based on the Wild, depending on how you look at it, the silence could represent the beginning of the game.
The game starts off in the _Chamber of Resurrection_. A shrine encased in rock and layers of Sheika technology. The only sound you'd probably hear would be the soft flow of water.
But personally I believe (or just make myself I, too, am really disappointed in the break of tradition) that this silence is going to lead to some fleeting sight of adventure.

The more you progress in the game, the more instruments begin to play this on the title screen, and the more involved it gets, from just a single piano to... well, this.

Or maybe like, from something quiet and nostalgic like the ambience piano that sounds in game from something like the full version of the main theme, with a lot of different instruments
I was disappointed that the fairy fountains theme wasnt on the select screen. That was one convention I was hoping they wouldnt break.

The sad thing ist that Breath of the Wild has no Select Screen music at all...

I still come back to this video sometimes and wonder why Nintendo didn't do something like this for their title screen.

I'm trying so hard to not tear up at work and look like an idiot, but goodness, this is phenomenal work. The title screen music has always been my favorite theme in gaming. I remember when Wind Waker, my first Zelda game, first came out. I was nine. All throughout grade school I'd turn on my GameCube and keep it on the title screen to listen to the theme when I was doing homework, drawing, really anything when I couldn't play the game.
I always felt that the Wind Waker theme would always be number one, but... This version you've made has to be my favorite. It's so serene, peaceful... perfect. It's like I'm hearing it for the first time again. Thank you for bringing back the feeling of being a child again, if only for two and a half minutes. I wish I could offer you more than just a subscription but you've more than earned one. Keep up the beautiful work.

Even the smallest things in games that have been carried on throughout them can hurt players if they are left out, this is one thing I miss, the Select Screen theme, thank you for letting us hear how beautiful it could have turned out to be..

It’s hard to believe it was almost a year ago everyone was so hyped for this game. I just took a nice little stroll through memory lane listening to all of these original compositions we thought could be in the game and it was so fun to reminisce on all the hype.
I came back to the video and just for fun I put it on 1.25x speed to see what it sounded like. If anyone is already ready for the next Zelda game, put the vid on 1.25x speed and close your eyes. You can picture it already. It goes without saying, but ClefferNotes truly creates some legendary masterpieces.

The game loads, and the camera circles around where you saved and got off last (with the environment frozen, incase you saved in a camp) and the game tells you to press start, kind of like Aether 1 main menu, if anyone remembers that.
Oh how I wish that the select screen had music, especially this track! I would never get to the actual game!

I always hear this and I imagined a title screen with a silent princess flower swinging by the touch of a gentle breeze, followed by another sequence wich is a close up of the Master Sword full of dirt from the tip of the blade to de handle, the weapons of the champions and the tapestry of the 10.000 years legend 💕💕💕😢😢😢

There are no words for how amazing this sounds.
This is a really nice version of this song. It fits Breath of the Wild perfectly. I wish they would have would have added the file select music. Or maybe after you have a completed file on the game this music would have unlocked and played during the file select/title screen.
Imagine if the title screen had this music while with shots panning over the grand landscape of hyrule. I was extremely disappointed that there was not traditional title screen in the game

It sounds absolutely beautiful! But I think it would have been even better, if you made the theme more dynamic like the original one. Right after the part when the strings set in - maybe combined with a heavy glissando to make a good transition ^^
However, the sounds you used and your individual depiction of the theme were brilliant ^^ Keep it up!
