Love the songs you’re putting out!! We have similar tastes and I appreciate that. Maybe you’d like Capstan, they have some pretty cool drum parts and great songs in general!
I like some of Capstan's stuff, especially lyrically, but I'm not really a fan of the overproduced metalcore sound that a lot of their songs seem to fall into. Their drummer is definitely a great player though, and he uses trad grip, which is always fun to watch.
They'll be coming for sure! I work on these when I get bored of other stuff, so there's never gonna be consistent uploads on this channel, but I don't intend to stop anytime soon either.
(late) happy first birthday tmbte! this was awesome. when matching each colour to a drum or cymbal, what do you recommend? i'd love to try playing some sleep token
Typically the line across the screen is the kick drum, red is snare (with the lighter red indicating ghost notes), the lane next to snare is for the hi-hat and the left crash and it can be kind of confusing with all the different states of the hi-hat available, then next is the highest tom, then typically a ride cymbal or china, then a mid tom, then the right crash cymbal, then the lowest tom. There's videos out there explaining this way better than I can if you just look up like "how to play Phase Shift drums."
Lol it's a game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero that uses specific colored notes to indicate a specific drum or cymbal being played. The orange/yellow line across the screen is the kick drum, the red circle is the snare drum, etc... I use it as an alternative to reading sheet music when I want to learn a song on drums. Not as precise as traditional sheet music, but way faster to parse through and get a feel for something imo.
I may do that at some point... next will probably be High Water though as I can't find a chart of that anywhere. Ascensionism already has a chart out there, though it uses Clone Hero which is not my favorite style.
@@mateOriginal Ah yeah you're right, didn't notice that. That's a song I will definitely get around too at some point, might be a few songs down the line though.
This is awesome. I will use it. Looking forward to more Sleep Token!!!
Thanks! More will definitely be coming.
