I wish I could subscribe more than once. Keep posting. Love the vibe. I am surprised you don’t have a million subscribers. Those sandwiches look amazing.
Congrats on the 8 to 5 remote work! So good to see you and Cole back on the road again. I’m getting closer to my departure date…as soon as I can sell my house. Thanks to both of you!
We were there in early May and lucky that we had no wind and beautiful weather. We love to look at everyone else’s rig and talk about pros and cons. We have gone from (very) small trailer to fifth-wheel to custom sprinter van. What’s next? Always a fun topic of conversation. Safe travels. I enjoy your videos whenever you have time to do them.
Wow no wind there would be a dream! And yes, I feel like everyone has their RV progression with different rigs. I know we'll get to our next level eventually! :)
Good to see the gang back at it! I'm heading to San Diego this weekend to beachside camp for the week. Best weather, beaches, and taco shops in America! Timmy C Arizona
Thank's for sharing your life with the RV world. We are heading out this winter and love the outdoors in mountains rivers forest and beaches North Western States. Don't want sale stick n bricks in the woods. But like go southwest for year or so and stay with our small setup, to truly help our camp options. Staying small opens up so much options on back roads I'll never go large and I hate RV parks that camp on top of each other, lol. We don't need much for our happiness but staying warm and keeping a dependable rig is most important thing, serving the fun times, lol. You guy's are awesome and love your keeping it real and not trying to keep up with the Jonesesss in rv world today. I don't understand why people would bring a five bedroom d pusher pulling a thirty foot boat to a camp ground to enjoy camping in the natural forest. It's truly crazy lol, but that just my thoughts on camping and enjoying nature... Thanks again and love your travels and your sharing it with the world.
Just found your channel. Loved the video. I love the Badlands they're so beautiful. I have a tip for you on saving water on dishwashing. I saw it on two different van life channels. After you've used your dish wipe it down with a napkin, paper towel, wet wipe whatever you have as much as you can, then spray it with a mixture of alcohol and water and wipe clean. Clearly that won't work for everything if you've cooked in a pot and it needs scrubbing, but it will work for a lot of your dishes and that will save water. Two channels I saw this tip on keep a spray bottle in their rigs that are a mixture of half alcohol and half water for the purpose of cleaning dishes and utensils.
scariest night in our Runaway Camper was in the Badlands. Major thunderstorms/tornadoes in the area... we went to the bathhouse saferoom at the KOA. The radar looked clean so we went back to the camper, right about the time a huge hailstorm came through. Felt like we were in a popcorn popper! Thankfully we survived with a bunch of dimples on the top of the camper but nothing else. Had a beautiful few days after that. Congrats on your jobs... if you're going to play, you got to pay. Hopefully this keeps you guys on a fun path for many years to come!
Love the Badlands. We spent the summer last year in South Dakota and we went several times to the park. I want to boondock there on the wall. But the wind scares me. I dont like seeing Class A fly. 😅
Hey guys, love the videos! My wife and I have the same size camper as yours. I have a couple of tips if you'd like them. When boondocking and our battery runs low (and low sunlight), we plug the trailer to our truck and run the truck for about 20 minutes. I don't recommend doing it too much since it could damage your alternator, but works in a pinch. Our camper is a bit older, so we installed usb plugs and use a usb fan to help cool us off. They use very little power and work great. We too, have problems finding a water resource to fill our camper. Have y'all tried the Water Bandit by Camco? It's a rubber universal fitting with a threaded end for a hose that let's you connect to different attachments that do not hvae a fitting. We usually try to find a city park or baseball park. Some of their spigots are not threaded, but the Water Bandit allows us to connect to it. It also connects to the larger water fittings at truck stops next to the diesel pumps where the big trucks fill up. Anyway, hope that helps. Happy RV-ing!!!!
It is interesting. We have never driven past Wall Drug without eating there. We do not buy anything else there because things there are not our style nor the type merchandise we buy, but we do eat, therefore we have intentionally been driving past there ready to eat. Now, since my wife passed away nine years ago, all my travel is pulling my RV to Florida between Christmas and New Year, and back to Indiana mid-March. I am really sorry you got sick!! I hope you can kick this sickness quickly and be the picture of good health here on out!!! WISHING YOU THE BEST!!!
I've eaten at Wall Drug a couple times and have never been wowed but it would have been better than the place we ended up grabbing dinner! I feel like Wall Drug is the kind of place you just have to stop if you're driving by!
T-shirt is $52 because someone's got to pay for the 500 billboards they have, lol. Small camper/RVs are awesome. Much easier to maneuver and less costly to run.
Glad to see you guys making the adjustments for part time RV life. That is what my wife and I do. We just spent a week in Acadia National Park in Maine.. Amazing! We’re anxious to see your next destinations. Thanks for the great videos and narrations.. We hope you feel better soon.
I have camped in that area a few times over the years and the wind blows every night. With my rig I was able to park closer to the edge to have a great view but I would’ve not done that with your small trailer so it was good to see that you didn’t. I have seen pictures over the years of Fifth Wheel’s been blowing over the edge. Thanks for the video.
It's such a neat spot! We would have liked to camp near the edge but I get pretty paranoid around steep drops with the dogs. Also probably smart with the wind that we stayed back a bit! Thanks so much for watching!
I love your videos and even your new format is totally interesting to me. I am fulltime but retired and I know not every day is full of adventure and excitement. But it is interesting because of the locations and RV lifestyle. Please keep the videos coming, weekly would be great!!! Feel better soon too!
Will be coming to the badlands at the end of next month so I can't wait. Didn't think about the wind at night. Maybe it will be different at my campground but unsure. Will be going to Wall drug because i never been there but saw a bunch of signs last year leaving South Dakota.
I love your hat! Watching Cole chew at super speed was funnier than it should have been. 🙂 Have you guys every thought of putting in a wind turbine? They really aren't that expensive. I'm putting one on my rig as soon as the solar is up. I saw a rig with an extendable flag pole welded by the ladder for a wind generator. That would have been an ideal location to get tons of wind energy! Your voice sounding bad is better most people's on a good day! Something I used to do in the studio to help my voice (asthmatic singer, go figure) was to shoot a little straight lemon juice down the back of my throat right before I sang. I actually did it live too. Just those squeezy plastic lemons filled with lemon juice like you get in the supermarket. I have it all planned out... any one disparages my vintage rig can be introduced to it. Then I can ask them if their big fifth wheel can talk. I win! lol
We haven't thought about a wind turbine but I can see why that would be a good idea! And I think I've heard that lemon trick before. Will have to try it out next time!
Your sparkling water looks a lot like LaCroix Pamplemousse. Ya know, if a person was to pair that with a couple of shots of Deep Eddys grapefruit vodka…..it’s been know to cure the common cold after 7-10 days. If ya want to make it fancy follow it with a splash of Costco grapefruit cups juice and garnish with a couple of grapefruit slices from said cup…now that’ll get ya right!
Happy to see y’all back on UA-cam 🎉 great content. Would love to know more details about the remote jobs. I’m an RV’er & have a few fellow friends that are also, & some that are wanting to start. Most still work & would love to know about remote work.
Maybe I'll make a shorter video about this in the future! I do feel like remote work is a big topic for anyone who wants to move into RV life, full time or even part time!
Our refrigerator can run on electric or propane, we usually have it on propane while boondocking because it does pull a lot of power. We don't use our AC or microwave while boondocking. All other electronics (laptops, lights, fans, etc) run off our batteries which are charged by our solar!
Just a tip guys. Filming someone laying on a bed, couch, sleeping bag, eating, complaining about being sick, hahaha, well anyways. I look for another vid.
I heard my voice. Land Cruiser it is.
Also, I’d let Cole guide me in @6:32
I was entertained the whole time! $50 t-shirt 😮, cactus pup, frozen eggs, power drama, that LOOK to Cole about the sandwiches 😂😂 - a packed 27 hours!
ALWAYS drama!! 😂😂
I wish I could subscribe more than once. Keep posting. Love the vibe. I am surprised you don’t have a million subscribers. Those sandwiches look amazing.

Loved this video! Share when you can, we'll be here. Hope you're loving the new job. 😊😊
It is a nice place to boondock, but I know many don't realize just how vicious that wind can be.
You gotta do what you gotta do! As long as you guys keep posting videos I'll keep watching!!
Thanks so much!

I JUST saw you in my company’s training video. I had to back up the vid… I was like…”Hey! I know her!” Lol.
Congratulations! Nice to hear an update 😊
Haha no way!! That’s too funny

You really can do anything at Wall Drug lol

We LOVED our time in Acadia last fall! Would love to go back and visit in the summer someday. Thanks for watching!

@@WorkinfortheWild Next time you're in the area and need power go to a little campground 11 miles away in Wasta.
Prairie winds here in south dakota can get pretty rough

Thanks so much! I'm already pretty much fully recovered, thank goodness! It was a rough week.
Will be coming to the badlands at the end of next month so I can't wait. Didn't think about the wind at night. Maybe it will be different at my campground but unsure. Will be going to Wall drug because i never been there but saw a bunch of signs last year leaving South Dakota.

Just stumbled upon ur channel. Enjoy you both, feel better soon. Looking into weekend rv’ing…we will see.
Thanks for watching! Whether you’re a weekend warrior or full timer, RVing can be a blast!
So now i'm doing egg salad sandos different now....

Either this is pure coincidence or I mentioned it in a previous video, because Deep Eddys grapefruit is my favorite!
@@WorkinfortheWild My wife’s too!…I’ll have to admit it’s a solid second for me, a pint of Guinness is my go to🍻
Were you ever in an episode of Forensic Files? If not, you have a doppelganger.
Not that I know of but I LOVE forensic files!
Tried RV life for 4 months. Ugh couldn't do it! How many campsites can you see, they alll look the same kinda 😂

What do you all use to run all of your appliances and electronics when boondocking?? Propane? Power station? Solar system and batteries? Generator?
Our refrigerator can run on electric or propane, we usually have it on propane while boondocking because it does pull a lot of power. We don't use our AC or microwave while boondocking. All other electronics (laptops, lights, fans, etc) run off our batteries which are charged by our solar!
One of our favorite boondocking spots! But, yes, very windy! I couldn’t do any cooking outside because of the wind. 💨
Hope you feel better soon! ❤
I was gonna ask, who got cheated out of avocado?
I’m in mn we just bought our 3rd fifth wheel leaving for travel and Florida living oct 1
How do u do the solar panels ? Is it hard? Worth it?
What do u do for work
What do u use for internet ? Verizon told me they have a jet pack. But idk
Why so few updates anymore?
Hi! We’ve had something big in the works for the past couple months that has taken up a lot of time. Will be sharing very soon!
Just a tip guys. Filming someone laying on a bed, couch, sleeping bag, eating, complaining about being sick, hahaha, well anyways. I look for another vid.

If you think living on the road is fun, you need to have children. Life without children serves no purpose.
