I don’t understand why people don’t like season 4. Sure it doesn’t really have anything to do with a “prison break” and it was fairly long, but I personally was engaged the whole time. It didn’t feel boring like some people say it does. In fact, “boring” is one word I simply cannot use to describe any episode in this entire show. It always kept me on the edge of my seat.
It was more off 'Give me something else I'll shoot u. ' Other seasons had shown more of how would people respond and negotiate and in what circumstances.
maybe unless it has something explosive in it to need to have cards if you watch mahone point gun to scylla so it means something in it if not michael take hammer with himself and doesn't need this complicated plan

They have pieces of data encrypted and than devided on 5 cards

Scylla can’t be decrypted without the cards. So you still would need the cards even if you just broke the thing open and got it.
