Saw the band play this song live at the 2010 into 2011 countdown show. Was completely blown away by how the room got dead silent/still during the refrain. Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is a band like now other. My favorite, now and forever :)

I clicked on this as I hadn’t heard this band before, and to my pleasant surprise, saw that Hiromi is guesting on piano! I’ve seen her live several times, and she is fire - my favorite jazz player on the circuit. I just saw her last September.

I used to belive that japanese couldnt do real good music because of the poor music that unfortunately is exported, but im happy to see that they have amazing things like that, and its kind of hard to find but im finding alot of great bands and artist like TSPO and Hiromi Uehara.

@Rodriq See i am a musician too and i spending some time on japan, my point is that here is really difficult to find people that put theirs souls on it , they have great technique, but not that much of feeling, you don see japanese poeple that can put "soul" on the music. I admire japanese people on many things but i just things that feeling is very very rare on their musicians. On this videos are some execeptions. by the way sorry for my english, not a native speaker.
