@@paceyconnolly6032 you should probably know what you're talking about if you're going to tell someone they're wrong. Odin did in fact have 2 wolves called Geri and Freki.
More like age of mythology tbh Reasons:- Odin's pets Villager can transform into a soldier, villager hunts for food and also attacks enemies as soldier, perfect role for wolves Ravens can be the special characters who are just their to boost economy
Ravens have even begun using this relationship to fend off competition from the other main scavenger of North America: coyotes. They’ve been known to actually alert wolves of coyotes nearby so the wolves go to chase off or kill the coyote, thereby removing any competition for carrion. They’ll even fly over the coyote so it can’t hide from the wolves. Such devilishly intelligent dinosaurs they are.
This is probably why Norse mythology had Odin with pet ravens and wolves, they probably believed there was something spiritual or divine about the connection between them.
Symbiotic is a more "Extreme" version where essentially they sort of NEED it, whilst the mutualistic relationship is just, the species can survive without the other, but when interacting, they thrive together
I suppose canines have just evolved to be compatible with many other species. They are very social, so it makes sense that this would unlock the ability to form mutual bonds outside their own species to some degree. The only animal I can think of which is more social than wolves is humans. And we obviously take the cake for "most mutual interspecies relationships".

That's a scary thought.

@bobobsen these two animals invented combined arms doctrine.
Airwolf 😂
That's pretty crazy that certain birds will stick with individual wolves as they grow old and go on their own.
Ravens and their family of birds is actually over powered in the bird world. It’s crazy.
I repeat wolves have air support. I repeat wolves have air support.
Like a military assignment.😅
How nice to hear about something and immediately find a video about it
It’s because google listens into your microphone and guesses what it might be linked to. They also sell it to the government lmfao.
Are you here from the "Raven feeds Dog" video too? 😅

I really love stories about inter-species friendships. Thanks for sharing this one! There are ravens that live near me, but alas....no wolves.
Shows how their kin (dogs and crows) easily adapt to human society as pets and companions. Two of the smartest species.
