Hello, watching replay! First timer w/MakseLife (received the 3-month planner at CPC in November). Getting ready to dive in and this master class is great! Thank you, all, for sharing!
Hi, I tried watching the masterclass video and then needed to stop for the night. Thank you for posting the replay and for sharing all the amazing advice! I feel encouraged to set new goals for the new year. I had no idea how to set goals, maintain them, and truly accomplish them. Or at least feel accomplished. I tried other goal setting methods like Passion Planner. But, this season in my life I seriously needed alot more structure and advice. I am excited to have joined a supportive community! :)
Newbie here ! Watching replay . From Michigan. So excited to learning this . Going into retirement season in the next few years and I need this . Both our parents have passed so I need to learn retirement stuff and need a planning system.
Something came up last night, so #TeamReplay. I don't have to see the whole staircase. I simply need to take the first step and have faith that the next one will be revealed to me.
I'd like to challenge the discussion about "masculine" and "feminine" energy a bit here. I totally vibe with being very task oriented and letting that take priority over social time. Ooof. That's me. I have the opposite associations of these groups! Maybe this is from working tech retail where I was running around taking care of tasks vs the guys were off chit chatting and being social but ignoring the work. I was also raised by single women. So I associate feminine energy with the ones focused on checking the boxes to get things done, including the emotional and social labor of the house. That said, in a work environment I can see these groups where the men sometimes ignore the relationships and people in favor of the tasks. Generally, we are very accustomed to erasing or forgetting about the work of the house and not including that within our bigger pictures. So this is why I'm suggesting that you challenge and reflect on these two groups you mention, because there's a lot to unpack. You may be doing more than what you think you are. I certainly enjoyed teasing apart my experiences as well to help better label and group the ideas around work, care, and relationships. I like using "Us" as a word of the year, but encourage you to think a bit deeper about the labels you put on these two acts. That might help you see your goals and intentions from another lens.
Watching from Ohio, on YT, the next day. Needed the captioning. Just starting now. I am new to this, getting ready to set things up. Struggling with a word of the year. Thinking of PRIORITIZE. Is that too "severe"???
It doesn't need to be too severe. But you may be hinting at a larger concern you have and doing some mind mapping or exploring could help. Maybe there are issues of balance, not enough for yourself or not enough on family. Maybe you have things you're avoiding in favor or less stressful stuff. Maybe you feel a need to slow down and think about a bigger picture to make the best use of your time. Thinking about "prioritize..." as a journaling prompt though is really interesting because it can yield so many pathways to reflect on. But at the end of the day, if that word strikes the right cue in your brain when you read it, go for it.
