      This area is very neat. Nothing like the tides in this area!

    I have never seen such tides before. Should read more about tides now :)

      You should! Look up Bay of Fundy. Highest tides in the world.

    As a kid, I lived in Cambridge, Hants County. We could look across the Minas Basin and see Cape Blomidon jutting out seemingly halfway between where we stood and the distant coastline of New Brunswick. I still think of Blomidon as an old friend, one who has not changed even half a century later.

      I have recently moved back to the valley myself (Coldbrook, Kings County) and love being able to see this every time I come off the Avondale Mountain. There are few better sights coming back from Halifax than a view looking at Blomidon!

    That is wild to see all those boats beached on the sand. It was neat to experience those radical tide changes when we were up in Northern Maine. Looked like a nice day - more MEMORIES! :)

      More memories indeed! Yes, you can start to get a sense of the tides in Maine for sure! Such a neat thing to see in person.

    Beautiful day and stunning bay. Very interesting landscape and always fun scouring the shore. Travel sure does make memories and fills all the senses with special moments. Hermit crabs are so cute! Sticky moment there is the quick sand Josh! That is a crazy high water line 😮.

      Akane found some great little creatures walking along the bottom. Oh yes, there is so sand here - only sticky, sticky mud!

    Nice Provincial Park and cant beat the location along the ocean, got to watch where you set up camp with those high tides. Nice share Josh.👍

      Oh good! Yes, this area is super neat with the high and low tides. Unlike it anywhere else!

    Wow! Another great capture! I didn't even know that there is a place with the highest tides. Wonderful footage and instructive ... at least for me :)! And what a hike!😃 Greetings!

    That was really cool to see the low and high tide before and after. I see you guys saw some crab and ocean dwellers. Awesome park and location to explore. i followed you guys on insta. 😻👍

      Yeah, we saw a bunch of things on the ocean floor after looking in the right places. It's such a different spot as there are hardly any rocks on the bottom after the tides are out - pretty much all mud!

    Yes I agree with you I do love the memories you get from traveling. And it's kinda nice the fact that me you have our memories on camera and video. It's cool you guys were able to find some sea critters when the tide was low. That was good of you to us Before & After video of the tide so we could really see the significant difference. Looks like a lovely area Josh and thank you for sharing.

      Thanks brother! Yes, this area is awesome to see. You really don't notice the difference until you went back. Yes, I am so glad I am getting all these adventures logged. It's always nice looking back and seeing all the things that you've done!

    Cool T Shirt and the view at the start was very much like the UK to be honest. I love walking along the seashore when the tide is right out, always expect to find something - never do but one day! The sand looked real muddy and not a place where you want to be cut off by the tide, cheers Alan

      @DestinationEarth  5 років тому

      It's all mud there - hardly any sand at all! Nope, you could get in a lot of trouble if you got caught out in that tide for sure!

      Yes, I think most people have never seen them like this. Growing up here, I was surprised to see that it never happened anywhere else like this!

      Yeah, you can walk forever and still only be up to your waist - a completely different experience at high tide.

    Excellent video. Beautiful area. The turkey overlay was funny. Lol the only problem with Sandals is the sand throwing other than that they are the best footwear. Poor crab so sad. But crabs are delicious! Wow crazy difference for the first place but not as much for the second. Thank you for sharing.

      Yes, there is a huge difference here. It's a really neat thing to see. I love sandals, but sometimes they aren't the best option!

    This reminds me of New River Beach N-B! The water and the ocean floor was freezing the evening we walked N-R-B in August! You seem pretty comfortable!

      It wasn't too bad here honestly. That being said, I don't think I would get too far in! I'm a major wimp when it comes to stuff like that!

    Wow! Amazing the difference between low and high tide! 😲 Yup never fun to flip flop on a sand..you have to walk really slowly 😂😂

    • @DestinationEarth
      @DestinationEarth  5 років тому

      Yes it sure is! You wouldn't want to be trapped out there, that's for sure. This isn't much sand, it's actually more mud than anything else! Luckily you can walk on it once it dries, but it takes a while!

    Thinking about the feeling of scraping barnacles against my teeth gives me so much anxiety lol. Definitely not worth 3.5 days of cleanliness. Akane is much braver than both of us, we're always too scared to pick up any sea creatures.

    • @DestinationEarth
      @DestinationEarth  5 років тому +1

      Hahaha, it would be a thorough cleaning, that's for sure. Yeah, I don't typically like the sea creatures myself, so I am glad she is there picking everything up to show people!
