Marble grains added to soil is also a great long term source of calcium for tomatoes. It breaks down very well in slightly acidic soil, doesn’t change ph, is N free, releases co2 which reacts with iron and produces iron bicarbonate, a digestible form of Fe, it also releases Ca locally around grains so it doesn’t react with all phosphorus in soil and doesn’t cause phosphorus deficiency. It is possible to boost release of calcium by watering with water and (a bit!) vinegar mix. Cheers ✌️

Concise yet full of content. Subscribed immediately.
With the Gypsum towards the end the ingredients add up to more than 100%.
How do you actually interpret those numbers? Its important to me as I need to know how much of a desired nutrient Im buying and more importantly how to compare across different manufacturers tables so I do not end up with unintended toxic levels of another nutrient?

You can toast egg shells and add them to an organic vinegar, not malt, something like Brown rice or white wine, apple all work well.
Toast the egg shells until light brown, add these to a Mason jar and pour over the vinegar. The solution will begin to fizz as the acid in the vinegar begins to etch the Calcium from the shells.
Once it has stopped fizzing the solution is ready to use as a water soluble CaO. Mix with water and foliar feed every 8-10 days esp in the summer where there is little to no rain.
You can also make a sulpho-calcium brew which is very effective on tomatoes or vines.
      100L water
      20kg powered sulphur
      Lime or Slaked/ Quicklime 10kg
Mix the sulphur with water in a vessel 20L water add the sulphur stir with wooden stick.
In another vessel mix the lime with the remaining 80L water and stir until well mixed.
Add the sulphur mix to the lime, never the other way around. Stir well and use immediately for best effect.
You can further modify this blend with Copper, Zinc and Magnesium Sulphate as well as Borax to produce a very effective fungicide

We had our soil tested (lawn) and our calcium was off the charts high. It was listed at the high end off "Excessive" on the graph and as 4616 lbs/acre in the description. Is there anything (organic) we can do to offset the high calcium or is it even necessary? I guess I should plant some tomatoes and peppers. :-)

The products you've shown are not sold in my country.....I've noticed some leaves on a tomato plants curled upwards and a stem of leaves almost at the top and bottom started to get brown....I taught the curling is from too much water because it the rainy season here..I am growing organic there is only a liquid organic fertilizer sold at the store and it's very expensive for a small bottle...I used the chalk way before the curling started....what can I used from my kitchen to get calcium to the plants...thank you

Well, personally i simply apply rabbit urine. It's rich in nitrogen and calcium. So powerful is rabbit urine that you need to dilute with water using a ratio of 1:5, otherwise you will scotch the plants. Rabbit urine is also good because its a natural way of fertilizing your plants, an excellent option for organic farming enthusiasts. As it is 100% natural, there is no waiting people from day of application to first harvest date - you can even harvest soon after applying it. Another advantage of rabbit urine is that it also works as an insecticide. The strong smell that it produces while applying it and its sour and burning sensation kills garden pests such as aphids.
