Is there a reason only 11.5cm was chosen, since hybrid Quad method can achieve 14-16cm. Was the initial goal more, or was there an issue that made it only 11.5.
Well i’m not entirely sure but maybe it’s the reason because it only lengthens your legs, not your arms or torso. If you are limb lengthened to 6,0 but with a 5,8 wingspan, your proportions would look off. I might be wrong tho so i’m open to feedback on my remark
It simply cant. You can have 16 -17 with 2 segments with 2 surgeries performed on different times. Not with Quad. I dont get why anybody has Quad, you can also have 9 - 10 cm just with femurs
@@nightshadowend You can 100% get 15cm with one quad surgery, there are several cases right here on this channel and more on Instagram. Also, 9-10cm for femurs might not be enough for some people (like me, being 5'7.5" and wanting to be 6ft+). Plus, doing that kind of extreme lengthening on femurs takes way longer to heal, and lengthening past 8cm on femurs is generally considered high-risk. Additionally, doing that much on femurs but zero lengthening on tibias is gonna look weird proportionally. There are many reasons quadrilateral is superior.

Being tall is absolutely better than being short, hard stop. No one cares about proportions, people come in all sizes and shapes naturally as it is. Also no one can tell what your proportions are when you're wearing clothes anyway so it doesn't matter.

Not even close (last I saw, current consensus was that you need to have a minimum of roughly $2.1 million saved up just to retire in most areas of the US). $100k is maybe a few years of savings plus a loan if necessary. And literally EVERYONE cares about height in all parts of society; numerous studies show taller men get hired more, promoted to leadership positions more, given more respect in social situations by default due to everyone naturally perceiving them as leadership material as well as more dominant and intimidating, get paid more, get laid more, and many other perks. Being short is absolute garbage and this surgery is a life-saver. I can't wait to do it.
