- A trove of unseen archive of the Algerian independence war shot on 35mm film is uncovered in Belgrade. It was filmed by Stevan Labudovic, the cameraman of Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito.
Labudovic spent three years filming Algeria’s independence war with unprecedented access. His images and journals inspire this little-known story of how Algeria's National Liberation Front (FLN) harnessed the power of cinema and media to diplomatically win a war they had been destined to lose. In the process they created a playbook for modern information battles, taking their struggle all the way to the heart of the international community - the United Nations.
Cine-Guerillas is a documentary film by Mila Turajlic.
The film is available on UA-cam with Arabic and French closed captions.

It is very important that today's youth understand that their freedom came at a price and that it was their parents, close or distant, who paid the price, through immense sacrifice, unimaginable suffering and that they did it without flinching, without hesitation, so that their children and grandchildren could live free! The only way to do them justice is to take care of this precious heritage, to make it grow and to share it with all oppressed peoples. Long live Algeria and long live Palestine.

للأسف مازال يعاني شعب الجزائري من قبضة جنرالات الجزائر الذين إستحوذوا و قتلوا الإقتصاد و القضاء و مؤسسة الرئاسة . العسكر هم من يعينون الرئيس.
يوجد صراع الجنرالات بينهم و الجناح المنتصر يسجن يجناح المنهزم ، يوجد أكثر من 35 جنرال في السجن

My grandfather was a Coporall at the FLN and part of the ALN too.
The thing is finding information about the ALN is very difficult, so I was suprised he had a knife from them.
I just would like to thank Mr Stevan Labudovic and all the people who helped us to retain our country back from the barbaric and the invaders who thought that the Algerians wouldn't be able to fight and force the enemy out off our land.

My late dad was put in prison and tortured by france army, and did not come out of prison till the independence . He was then branded as terrorist, but now he is a freedom fighter. Free Palestine .

All thanks to Russia, Yugoslavia, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia. These countries supported the revolution with weapons and trained the revolutionaries. I live on the eastern border of Algeria and know soldiers who trained in Yugoslavia and Tunisia. The price of freedom was millions of deaths. The revolution. Algeria in 1954 not only liberated Algeria, but also liberated all of Africa after this year.
The person does not help Algeria, there is an exception from Russia, Italy and your pay. When other people pay, as in Egypt, they help you with the radio in the segment of the Arab voice, and others. This beautiful Syrie is parlez-vous!! ! What's wrong with Syria?!! There are some things that happen to Syria in the history of their homes, because our people have a fight in Syria to protect their security. All Arabs are suffering from hypocrites, intrusiveness and exploitation of people and people.
I know the history of my country but watching this gave me goosebumps Palestine will be free just like us it’s only a matter of time freedom fighters will always win
