Sabina wa Chege needs to understand that the Agikuyu people have so many youths who over the last 15yrs have acquired a good education. While we were growing up it was very common to find majority of the youths just doing menial jobs due to lack of education and or exposure. It was very normal and a common practice. That changed after free education and access to unis & colleges was opened up. This new group of youths voted first enmass in 2013 and 2017. They were not voting for a tribe as such, but largely hope. They knew that this is the government that will pair courses with opportunities, talent with opportunities, but that never came. The anger you see amongst these youths is purely frustration. Naturally they'll want to find an avenue to air their frustration. The avenue now is this crack between UK and his deputy. Youths feel that their president put so much focus in political wars other than giving them opportunities. Picture a youth, a graduate who lacked a chance to further their career but did a mtumba start up only for the imports to be stopped and many other frustrations.
