Recycling criminals to run Nigeria again is a mistake that shows we learn nothing from the previous govt
If the people he appointed are criminals, who is he? The answer is simple. It's because he's their leader.
Candidly said by Prof Kila. When you are not assigned a portfolio, it's going to be difficult to probe each individual on character, competence, and resolve. Nigeria copied liberal democracy and federalism from the United States, but Nigerian leaders knowingly develop faint hearts to apply these principles. When ministers are named ,portfolios should be assigned to their respective ministry and submitted to the National Assembly. Those who are proven capable should be approved, but those who do not have a clue about the functions of the ministry assigned to them should be disqualified. The style here is to take a bow, and that is it.

I agree with you. What tinubu did is deliberate. Ideally the Senate would have sent the list back to him to include portfolio on the nominees. But as APC style has been. It's going to be "THE I HAVE IT" all through. We used to call Mr Lawan's senate rubber stamp, we will see the worse rubber stamp senate under Akpabio.

Just a mere list of names of the nominess. So, the band of 'screeners,' who themselves are dump and blinded by loyalty to the supremo, would just ask the 'screenees' to recite the national anthem. And that would be it. This is despite the vote of billions of naira for the effective working conditions of the 'screeners'. What then is the return on investment on that band of characters who camouflage as the voice of the people? Funny, isn't it? You see, nothing has changed between the recent past and the present.

Tinubu 'raised the bar' by removing fuel subsidies on his first day. You wouldn't hear this Prof go to town about how that sets the standard for decisiveness for future Presidents.

Referring to the senior advocate in that list and two professors as rats is very despicable and has no doubt brought you down from your highly place to a pedestrian professor and I must confess to you disappointed some of us that are watching you from far distance.
This Anthony Kila is a disappointment, a professor, and a supposed objective analyst praising Governor Wike for rigging election. A man who talks anyhow, who boasts of drinking so much, is being described as sober? If people like Anthony Kila can tell barefaced lies because of personal relationship or interest, then we have a long way to go in Nigeria, in terms of having men of character and integrity.

Picking a cabinet is the President's prerogative. His cabinet should fit his vision.
Perhaps the Prof should take the next 3 years to plan and strategise to run and win an Election then choose a cabinet of 36 Havard Professors in his acceptance speech.
