পারমিতাকে বিয়ে করে নিজের করে নেবে এমনই কথা দিয়েছিল ইরফান। কিন্তু ঠিক হয় উচ্চবিত্ত ইরফানকে বাবার ব্যবসা বাঁচাতে বিয়ে করতে হবে রিয়াকে। চটপটে রিয়া যখন ভালোবেসে ফেলে ইরফানকে তখনই জানতে পারে পারমিতার নিঃসীম ভালোবাসার কথা। একদিকে পারমিতা ইরফানের সম্পর্কের মধ্যে রিয়া তৈরি করে নতুন মাত্রা, অন্যদিকে পারমিতার বাবা মুখোমুখি হয় ইরফানের বাবার। শুরু হয় লেনদেন আর দেনা-পাওনার নতুন হিসেব-নিকেষ।
রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ছোটগল্পের অনুপ্রেরণায় ধারাবাহিকটির চিত্রনাট্য করেছেন আহমেদ খান হীরক ও আফিফা মোহসিনা অরণি। সংলাপ রচনা করেছেন অলভী সরকার। পরিচালনায় গোলাম মুক্তাদির।
Beign love of her life, Irfan promised Paromita to marry her and make her the better part of his life. But circumstances dictated that Irfan, from an affluent family, had to marry Ria to save his father's business. As the lively Ria falls in love with Irfan, she learns about Paromita's boundless affection for him. Ria introduces a new dimension to Irfan and Paromita's relationship, while Paromita's father confronts Irfan's father, setting off a new chapter of transactions and reckonings.
Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's short stories, the screenplay for the series is crafted by Ahmed Khan Hirok and Afifa Mohsina Oroni, with dialogues written by Alovi Sarkar. The series is directed by Golam Muktadir.
