You really should know better by now & I was really disappointed by this error. The American croc is definitely the bigger (& more dangerous) of the two & reaches a maximum length of around 20 ft, whilst the American alligator is smaller & reaches maximum length of around 15 feet. In fact, I believe that the Orinoco croc is the second largest species of extant crocodiles. On a negative note, YOU UNDERPLAYED THE MAX LENGTH OF THE SALTWATER CROCODILE - I’ve read several well documented accounts of salties reaching 22 to 23 ft in length. Saltwater crocs had killed many people in Borneo, Malaysia.A few months ago in January, a 7 year old boy had been killed and eaten by a 20ft saltie while playing at the river bank with his sisters. His remains nor the croc was yet to be found by the authorities. Before that, an elderly man too had been killed by the croc too while casting his netline at the river.Furthermore the village was near estuarine and river mouth where salties roam around. This took place back in Kuching, Sarawak territory, Malaysia.Actually, there are many cases of croc attacks back here in Borneo but I couldn't tell much because we need to respect the victim's family privacy and emotions. In addition to my story, saltwater crocodile were among the overpopulated crocodiles in the world. In Malaysia alone I guess they may be hundred thousands of them lurking in our coastal areas, estuarine and river mouths. In Sarawak, hunting for crocodile is now at the beginning stage to control the population. But still some people won't take up due to their culture and beliefs especially the Iban race. The Ibans who still practice their old beliefs believe that crocodiles were their reincarnated ancestors. One folklore story is famous, the 'Bujang Senang', the story about an Iban warrior who had been cursed into a crocodile. And apart of the story, the Ibans really respect crocodiles as they regard it their deceased ancestor's reincarnation. The state government now however had release the permit and license to hunt down as many crocodiles as a part of population control programme.Crocodile flesh and skin were among the expensive items brought from the hunt and hunters can make money from it.Of course for those who dared to take the risk here.
@joe_tipakuah4880 We have large number of salt-water crocodiles in Bangladesh. But the tiger attack is more common in Sunderbans river. Sunderbans river is infested with many salt-water crocodile. We also have commercial salt-water crocodile farm where they're raised for meat, skin and teeth. Although, we never eat crocodile since It's haram in Islam.
@@zisanmahmud4335 Of course its forbidden in Islam to eat amphibious reptiles such as crocodiles and i know that because i live among the Malay who embraced Islam in Malaysia. And we have similarities in our biodiversity such as saltwater croc and tigers.Tiger attacks were common too in West Malaysia as the habitat of the Malayan tiger were threatened by logging and oil plantation estate. The tigers had nowhere to look for food and humans were the targeted food source because of lack of mammals such as the Sambar Deer,Wild Boars and any others due to deforestation and poaching.

the strongest compared to size? or strongest over all? because if its strongest over all then its simply the largest crocs. and otherwise it should be compared to weight. and what you mean with strongest. you mean strongest bite? or strongest body over all. including tail strength and swimming and running speed.
Their most important weapon: intelligence. They outsmart prey, outsmart competitors and even predators. Of course, when you're putting tjem with elephants and chimpanzees, it's low, but comparing it to mammalian predators such as big cats, bears and mustelids, it's significantly higher than them. They are able to set traps, cooperate with hunting, use tools, strategise and calculate a prey drinking routine, calculate an exact position and timing for an attack etc. They don't use brute strength for an attack because they don't need to.
@@guitarist2463 No, they have tiny brains, they don't use intelligence they use millions of years of evolution. If it works you don't need high intelligence.
The Nile croc is more aggressive than the Saltie, has a stronger bite force, and claims the most human lives out of any crocodilian and even animal. If I’m not mistaken, the Nile crocodile is the 3rd most deadliest animal in the world. And most Nike crocs weigh more than saltwater crocs. It’s pretty clear the most deadliest is the Nile, not the Saltwater.
You completely mixed up the stats between the American Alligator and American Crocodile even though you made a species account for both species. The range maps shown were the only thing correct for both species. The Alligator is endemic to the United States. The American Crocodile is the one that ranges farther south and into salt water. In fact, the American Crocodile is the only other species that frequents salt water as often as Salt Water Crocs.
Average male Hippo would kill the largest crocodile. The largest Saltwater Crocodile ever recorded was "Lolong" which is about 22 feet in length. But even Lolong would lose to an average Hippo.
@@krunosubotic9709 Why not? An average Hippo is way larger than the largest crocodile and it's huge mouth can be opened up to 90 degrees, it can bite any crocodile in half. Hippos can deliver a bite force around 2000 psi with it's long tusk, strong enough to crush any animal. Crocodiles has a very bite force of its own around 3700 psi, but it's mouth is not big enough to actually bite the Hippo's huge body, not to mention crocodile's teeth is not long enough to penetrate Hippo's very thick hide. Hippos and crocs have several confrontations in wild, you can actaully search it on youtube, majority of the outcomes are crocodiles being killed.

Why I will never step foot in the water again.
Those Alicrocs gotta be worst you mentioned em twice😂😂😂 by different names

5) saltwater crocodile
All saltwater crocodile matters 🐊
American alligator and American crocodile are 2 different animals
the strongest compared to size? or strongest over all? because if its strongest over all then its simply the largest crocs. and otherwise it should be compared to weight. and what you mean with strongest. you mean strongest bite? or strongest body over all. including tail strength and swimming and running speed.
Like the amarican alligator 🐊
? 👇
Caimans don’t get that big they only can go up to 15 ft at most
Guess. 1. Salti 2. Nile
Big cats are much more intelligent than a crocodile.
Crocodilians are as dumb as a fencepost, they hunt by instinct.
@@chalkandcheese1868 Not at all. They have been known to be quite intelligent when it comes to hunting, if you look it up.
@@guitarist2463 No, they have tiny brains, they don't use intelligence they use millions of years of evolution. If it works you don't need high intelligence.
Smartest croc: Nile crocodile
Dumbest croc: Caiman/american alligator
I thought the Nile crocs had a bite force closer to 5k?
No
Thats the maximum estimated, but yes, is closer to 5000.

Sarcosuchus vs titanaboa
Still surprise that sarcosuchas arent crocodilians
Isn't sarcosuchas a species of prehistoric crocodilian?
@@ispeakmandarin they are said to be closer to 🐢 turtle
@@legiondevil3524 Don't they look like false gharials?
The Nile croc is more aggressive than the Saltie, has a stronger bite force, and claims the most human lives out of any crocodilian and even animal. If I’m not mistaken, the Nile crocodile is the 3rd most deadliest animal in the world. And most Nike crocs weigh more than saltwater crocs. It’s pretty clear the most deadliest is the Nile, not the Saltwater.
Gharial should not even be on the list. their jaws are too small and weak.
Crocs have a far stronger bite force than gators . It's been proven scientifically.
Tiger shark vs Mako shark
I thought caimans were from the alligator family?
Imagine Lions, Tiger's and Jaguars kill these beasts
Saltwater crocodiles can exceed 28 feet and Niles crocodiles exceed 23 feet.
are you mad?
@Juhanaan Lyngdoh what? 😂
You completely mixed up the stats between the American Alligator and American Crocodile even though you made a species account for both species. The range maps shown were the only thing correct for both species. The Alligator is endemic to the United States. The American Crocodile is the one that ranges farther south and into salt water. In fact, the American Crocodile is the only other species that frequents salt water as often as Salt Water Crocs.
Salties even hunt sharks FFS 😂😂
I don't know why but the most aggressive crocodiles live in my country :/
American crocodile > black caiman > american alligator
What's their one rep max?
Largest saltwater crocodile vs largest hippo next.
There are rumored cases of Gustave a Nile crocodile having killed adult hippos
Average male Hippo would kill the largest crocodile. The largest Saltwater Crocodile ever recorded was "Lolong" which is about 22 feet in length. But even Lolong would lose to an average Hippo.
@@alexanderliew3415 No way. Hippo can"t kill such a big crocodile...
@@alexanderliew3415 You like Hippos, that is ok. But saltwater crocodile or full grown Nile crocodile easy kill Hippo. That is fact.
