It’s such an emotionally attached and truest statement. I believe anyone who has lost a pair of loved ones (father,mother/grandfather/grandmother. Etc.) would wish them to reunite and watch them do so even for a fraction of a second to see the emotions. I cried. Amazing, heartfelt writing.
I loved my ex-fiance more than I have ever loved anyone... more than I loved my mother, my father, myself... and she broke my heart by cheating before our wedding, and I have not loved anyone since.
This entire scene took me out. Bjorn’s entire eulogy to his mom, showing her whole life transitions in the outfits, and I just lost it when her voice spoke those words. And I thought finally, her and Ragnar, and Athelstan and the daughter were reunited. (just like Ragnar’s vision) ♥️♥️♥️ LOVED this entire show.
When Bjorn wishes at his parents reunion that’s sad but when says you are already a legend but to me you will always be my mother man that hits hard he’s just a son who loved his mother at this moment not the fierce Viking warlord we’ve seen
This whole scene was incredible! It's such a sad moment but the music choice is perfect and the cinematography is phenomenal! Honestly some of the most visually stunning TV I've ever seen!
Dang. That was 8 mo ago and i still got teary eyed. I agree. A beautiful scene. Director and every single character and special effects dis an amazing job. So proud of you. Let us not forget the writer of this scene. BRAVO
This shows how strong a mother and sons bond can be and the loss of one or the other can leave a wound that will never heal never scar it will remain open forever
"In my dream, we are always together" are the perfect final words for her send of to Valhalla. Her love for Ragnar never faltered. This was and is truly and masterpiece and I genuinely don't think any other show will ever tell the stories and lives of legends like Vikings did.
This series is just to amazing it gets you so wrapped in it and you feel the pain the anger and all the emotions throughout the show like your their with them just amazing
Still i shed tears and my skin crawls when watching this scene...its sooo well made,- the actors, ship burial, valkyries and the music its just so spot on.
If there’s anybody that Bjorn truly loved it was his mother:) Was the reason his brothers didn’t kill her earlier. Always took her side no matter what. Lagertha was lucky to have a son like Bjorn
I can't think of any show that drew my tears in so many occasions. Notability when Bjorn died, when Ragnar said good bye to Floki, Bjorn/Largertha left Ragnar, etc..
I tear up when she said she was ready to go and see Ragnars and told Bjorns he will see each other in valhalla and as someone who lost my mom a month ago I felt this man pain we will see each other again
All of ragnars many children came against each other bc ragnar wasn't there to teach them the importance of family it doesnt make any other child more his son than the other
I can't stop watching this I haven't seen my mother 4 almost 11 years living in Sweden and every time I look at him how he talking about his mother feel tears in my eyes
I’ve seen this so many times but I am always crying. I don’t even know what makes me cry the most: the beauty of the final scene and its symbology, the sadness of losing the best and strongest character of the series or the joy and relief to know that she is happy know with Ragnar and with all those she loves, brought there by the Valkyries. And this sentence in the end. So simple yet so powerful! This scene is a masterpiece and is worth each tear I drop
I absolutely sobbed watching this when it first came out & here I am crying again . The bit that tipped me over the edge was when lagatha landed next to Ragnar’s body !
What was Lagertha's most legendary moment?
Every moment is legendary
When she kiss Ragnar❤️
That's very true!
Becoming an earl
When she left ragnar
“I wish I could be there, at your reunion.” In such a pained voice. I cried. Superb scene.
A scene as strong as their bond! 💪 ua-cam.com/video/3otOOPEt1D4/v-deo.html

It's okay, Asa was there to see it for both of them.
1:43 min 🥺😢😭
Incredible acting
“In my dreams, we are always together” *drifts away with the ocean water*
Such a tear jerker yet a beautiful send off
❤
Its almost the best line of the entire thing.....
Ragnars death was sad.
Lagerthas funeral was beautiful.
Bjorns death was epic.
Perfeito o que disse....
And Gyda
And Ivar's all of them
Best of the Vikings!
Dressed in her farm clothing when dying her best life tıme with Ragnar 😢❤
" In my dreams, we were always together" - think of a line more romantic than this! Hail Ragnar, Hail Lagertha.. ❤
🥰
Me too ❤❤❤❤
in my dreams, we are always together. think of a line more romantic and lonely than this♥️
"And nothing will ever be the same again."
How painfully true.
This scene still give us CHILLS! 🥶 ua-cam.com/video/3otOOPEt1D4/v-deo.html
I can t believe this was a history channel production. WHAT A MASTERPIECE of a show Vikings was
I love vikings but ur telling me this was supposed to be historically accurate 😂
No literallyyyy-Michael Hirst is a beast
It wasn't. That was just the channel that it was broadcast on.
@@redplague this is what I wanna see on history channel not reality tv. Shows
@@kodesh1674 I agree but I'd rather see actual history documentaries on the History channel than both of those things, like there used to be.
after 2 years still sobbing to this. this series is a masterpiece ong
Ragnar didn't fade away until Lagertha joined him. He waited for her ❤
And Harbard waited for Aslaugh😂
I absolutely agree with you ❤😢
"I've loved you more than I have loved any other". The love for your mom is the most love you'll have for someone aside from your own child.
It's true
Though not all people feel that way
Well in normal circumstances when a mother is a real mother
I loved my ex-fiance more than I have ever loved anyone... more than I loved my mother, my father, myself... and she broke my heart by cheating before our wedding, and I have not loved anyone since.

The music absolutely makes this scene magical.
I’ve seen this a million times and it doesn’t age. It’s like watching it for the first time, every time.
It's a beautiful scene 🤍
I cant tell you how much i sobbed watching this scene as a man, never cried so hard at a show in my life, a beautiful scene
Legit the best send off for any character I've ever seen
Legends deserve a legendary send off!
Poetic, artistic, beautiful and fitting end for her to cross over. It actually made me cry a little. Lol.
Better than how GOT send off Daenerys

Yes very well said...the background score touched the deep hearts of every viewer
What song were they playing
This shows how strong a mother and sons bond can be and the loss of one or the other can leave a wound that will never heal never scar it will remain open forever
Ragnar,Lagertha and Bjorn has the most emotional deths
And they all were the reason why Vikings goes to S6
And ivar
For me it is Ragnar, Athelstan and Ivar.
@@mikew4022 i hate Athelstan LOL
I hate Ivar
When she turns to sand and vanishes alongside Ragnar at the end 🥹. I felt that.
I love that scene so much.
This is the most beautiful scene I ever saw. There is not a one mistake.Everything is done perfect.
I lost my mother about a year ago and this made me cry. I think it's difficult to understand if that didn't happen to you.
3 years and 2 days ago for me.....I understand.
yea, but when it was the other brothers, he refused vengeance. Didn't even apologize.
I don’t know about you but I cried. I cried for the character I watched for six seasons. Beautiful send off.
Same! It literally broke my heart

Never watched an episode of this show, but this scene was so beautiful, especially when Lagertha reunited with Ragnar at the end.
Start from the episode one season 1 you don’t know what you are missing.
Spoilers will not entertain you.
How did find this scene so beautiful and yet you never watched the show??
Ohhh…you must see❤!
You should definitely watch it!! I dare say it is better than GoT
My mother died 9 years ago this July, the first time I saw this scene I fell to my knees with tears. This captured how it felt perfectly.
Whew I'm balling tears like this was my mom's . Man this show was impactful and amazing, respect for the Viking culture
anyone else get stuck watching clips of the show 3 years after its end like "dam i lived through this real time" ?
Yes...😊

To hard to say it's between Bjorn or Ragnar
Anyone here in 2024 rewatching it all? I’m scared to be depressed again lol

Lagertha loved Ragnar more than anything else. They are soulmates. She never forget him.
“And nothing else will ever be the same again.” ❤❤❤
Their bond 🤍 ua-cam.com/video/BTu_Dwqy0Nk/v-deo.html
I wish Bjorn had mentioned his sister, but this was a terrific scene, worthy of Lagertha.
Arguably the most captivating series in a century!
I swear to God…..I cried here

The scene gets me all the time.
-We're not crying.-
The most tragic scene on TV the score also broke my heart. Alexander is aan amazing actor.
I can't think of any show that drew my tears in so many occasions. Notability when Bjorn died, when Ragnar said good bye to Floki, Bjorn/Largertha left Ragnar, etc..
Absolutely. Each scene did the same for me. Truly heartbreaking
Such a great tribute to her legacy on the show. Made me cry!
He waited for her....they had to arrive in Valhalla together.....always together. 😢❤
I cried so hard when all the shield maidens raised their hands to sacrifice 😢
There is no love deeper than for those that have traveled life's journey with you, those lifelong companions, family and friends.
Well, time to start watching Vikings again
True
That's what i was also thinking 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤕🤕🤕😂😂😂😂 I'm so far behind thou
I started watching it again,2 days ago 😂
Ragnar waited for Lagertha and together they entered Valhalla where they were celebrated and drank with the gods.
Yup, he hunted her and Was waiting for her
The aesthetic of this scene is beyond words. Hail Lagertha!
You know its a great scene, when you tear up without ever seeing one epiosde of that series.
My heart weeps so much💔 i cried with bjorn, this cut so deep that it touches you into your very soul. I can't get over this🥺
Last scene hits my heart. Ahh, pain.
I tear up when she said she was ready to go and see Ragnars and told Bjorns he will see each other in valhalla and as someone who lost my mom a month ago I felt this man pain we will see each other again
This is one of the best, if not the best send offs for a character of all time in a show. It gets me to tears every time I watch.
Bjorn and Ubbe are the true sons of Ragnar.
All of ragnars many children came against each other bc ragnar wasn't there to teach them the importance of family it doesnt make any other child more his son than the other

And somehow the most emotional part was when the little girl ran towards the ice, cleared a portion, looked through and saw lagertha descending.
