Some of these questions give me kind of a gotcha vibe, for example "When is the next version of python comming out" doesnt say anything about their ability of programming in python.
It tells me how much they care about Python. Are they passionate and curious, or do they just go along to get along? It matters for the space he’s interviewing for.
I learned Python from a Python crash course book, I don't remember if that book really explained concepts of int size, two's complement, and signed and unsigned integers. It is C++ where I learned about these concepts. The guy at least needs to pick up a language like C or C++ and start learning some of the bare bones of how programming languages work.
This is why I recommend people to go to C/C++ cause when I first started out it was in Python and C# and those languages are way too abstract/library dependent(especially Python) to know what's going on. C/C++ is low enough to show you the fundamentals.
Sup bro.. so i gave my OA today at m*****ium …. Looks are like companies are moving away from leetcode … they asked me to implement a REST API … and 1-2 easy type coding questions… 1 probability… 2 visual pattern questions 1 mental math and its a good thing actually idk about other roles but it was for a software
Man I love the vids, but you need a better AUDIO brooo haha, idk if its the mic + the echo of the call + the game being loud, but if you invest a little in "production" you will bomb up on followers the potential is insane
@@CodingJesus Nice man, Big fan of your content, currently in 2nd year of my bachelor's in Software Engineering, and am really into cyber sec. Maybe one day we will meet
Wtf is this do people pay money to him for this? Are you trying to look cool or whatever loudly playing games chewing gums (in some other video) while asking questions? What is this video im so confused
Honestly this guy was less cooked than many of the previous CS people. If anything, hes undercooked instead of overcooked 😅 I'm guessing he is missing the math background though. Is there a reason you don't grill people with mathematics questions? It's just as important. No math skills, no quant job.
Would be interesting to hear CJ's input on this. I have the impression that quite a few big names in the field don't ask quant dev applicants math questions/riddles, but I might be wrong.
Not sure about quant, but most dev's are not gonna be using heavy math, except for maybe some Discrete. Now if you're going into Graphics, ML/AI, or GameDev then you'll need a solid foundation of not only Math but Physics as well. Also fuck Calc 2.
Video available early for Patrons. Unedited full length livestream rerun available for channel members.
Lol the game sounds over the interview is hilarious.
"i know some object oriented programming" _boigoingoing_
I honestly respect the courage it takes to go in front of a live audience and do this.
Great interview about the sounds a rolling ball can make, thank you kindly.
I beg mute the game during these interviews!
This was the last one with screwed up audio. It was from the same livestream as the last one.
Not the worst interview I've seen, especially for a bootcamper
secondary key is not foreign key.. it is another key that can be used to uniquely identify a row. foreign key points to another table
yeah i was thinking alternative key and not foreign key
He's not that bad. Just inexperienced. With a years grind I'm sure he'd do great

How do I join these? I might have to get grilled, too, lol
Not knowing signed or unsigned integers is crazy work
ADHD perfect you got the game and the info. Btw whats the game name?
The game is Ballance. It’s in the description.
Saying you dislike list comprehensions as a python dev is crazy work

Yeah I fixed them in future streams. Bought a new microphone today, although chat says it’s only mildly better so I’ll need to figure it out.

These interviews are intresting but are getting quite repetetive
You may have to move onto something else that stimulates you 🤷🏾♂️
I learned that people call double underscores "dunder" today 😂
"I like his passion"
He sounded scared the whole time
Wtf is this do people pay money to him for this? Are you trying to look cool or whatever loudly playing games chewing gums (in some other video) while asking questions? What is this video im so confused
if this dude can pull bridgewater im waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overthinking the difficulty of this career
He can’t pull it.
You can’t get a quant position with an associates degree
How can I appear on these videos?
can you share some good resources for compsci fundamentals?
Read a book called Computer Systems : programmer's perspective
unlistenable.
I beg you my lord Jesus 🙏🏾🙏🏾 , forgive my ears 👂

Probably just not as fun of a video
